QUOTE(gary_cheah85 @ Oct 6 2008, 11:39 PM) I don't believe this, to be honest.I get an average 13-14km/l. My savvy starts the fuel blink light at ~350km, and I will travel normall about until ~400km then only pump petrol -- and only 29-30l will be able to go in. Also in theory I should be able to go 530-540 km on a full tank ... YEAH RIGHT. The one and only time I decided to go by the theory, by 480 km ran out of gas and had to call a friend to go buy petrol for me. |

FYI, some petrol might still be inside the tank, only that the fuel pipe unable to suck in more fuel. instead it is sucking in air inside the fuel tank, so once the sensor detected it, it will shut down the fuel pump u wanna bet the fuel tank is really bone dry when those fella go pump maximum at petrol station? even if pump to the max, are u 100% confirm that the fuel tank is filled to the brim? anyway 40-36 = 4litres is only a small amount, and u cant really go very far I dont really see the point in arguing the fuel tank capacity |

Need 3 SAVVY Owners to write a report/review on their own car/s. I will put it in my Otoreview BLOG. Don't worry, Will acknowledge your work (Harvard Referencing (ahem!)). Report/review with AT LEAST 3 photos each car. Limited to 300 words. In a meantime, I compiled reviews from Carsurvey website. All I can say's that 8/10 POSITIVE reviews, 1/10 bashers and the other 1/10 not used to AMT gearbox. Why I want to blog about Savvy? Coz Savvy owners so far no complaints about their car in terms of Reliability, Maintenance and Ride/Handling. Most of them actually sing praises to their Savvy. This is 100% contrary to SAVVY BASHERS in Autoworld. E-mail me your report/review. This post has been edited by Jeff_lwh: Nov 25 2008, 12:42 AM |

Only those who do not own Savvy or never drove a Savvy before like to bash on Savvy. When they heard someone is buying a Savvy, they tend to say Savvy is problematic, not reliable, this not good, that not good to discourage people from buying Savvy. Shame on them. |

Front absorber heads faulty Faulty ignition coil Water pump leaking Faulty throttle body CD player jam (ok fine this isn't really a car problem but I had to bring it to COE to fix regardless) |

I almost booked Savvy AMT last year, until I survey my relatives & friends that 1st hand own Savvy and, even tried to discount/ignore those problem stated in forums - i.e. only real life owner face to face survey. Even now I still have the urge to get one AMT play play... even then those problems never ends but I still keep surveying until I'm convinced to get one. Salute to those with a good Savvy, they are really the lucky ones. p/s: One LYN already sold off his few months old Savvy around 25~27k just because of 'unfixable' problem keep occuring. |
