already clock to 2000km.. i didn't find my gf savvy's fc any better than my sister's naza sutera. maybe this is my 1st time look at digital meter. 2 bar analog felt a lot compare to 2 bar digital.
my friend suggest me using automax fuel enhancer to save petrol.. any comment on this product? anyone use it? |

QUOTE(raynman @ Oct 2 2008, 11:15 PM) We need to define what exactly is a "wiring fault". Wires wrongly connected not according to Renault factory wiring diagram? Loose connectors? Corroded connections? Shorting? Wiring fault is a general terms. You need to look at the nature of the fault to derive them in details and most of the cases are unique to the car and not to others. They might have a combination of what you mentioned. If these are facts, then why do they happen? And in so many AMT vehicles? Shouldn't Proton be doing a recall for this wiring problem similar to the rear wheel bearing problem? Is there any assurance from Proton that after changing the wiring, it won't happen again? There are just too many questions without good answers from Proton that will allay our nagging fear of impending AMT failure. And I have not even experienced the AUTO light on yet. What assurance do you want...? even VW DSG gearbox will have firmware problem that yet to be solve, dude. According to one of the technical person in Proton on the Proton Open day, he mentioned that the occurrences of AMT failure is not high enough to trigger alarm. They even confidently said that the savvy's electronic fault is less compared to Renault itself..... Talking about recall, they also mentioned that most of the recall is due to a design flaw and they might put the driver to great danger while AMT & other similar common problem does not pose a immanent danger when the fault occurred. Auto light on is not dreaded to most of us as the auto warning light is just a warning and the car mostly still can be driven without any problem like how most of the ppl treat the engine check light(of course...I treat them seriously...My last gearbox light on is due to a weird reason..."TDC sensor voltage too high" for a few second... i will stop complaining abt amt and get ready to save money for future use.
since he (proton) say amt problems not high enough to trigger alarm, the least proton should do is increase our amt module warranty to 5 years. old buyers should get change problematic amt module for free. or give discount (50-70% maybe still 1-3k or some even need to pay 16k just to repair amt module kindda my expectation at least my amt should be working for 7 years. 2 years or 50kkm edy got probs, kindda QUOTE(lj0000 @ Oct 6 2008, 08:49 PM) my savvy on the brink of coming out liao great!car plate will be WRW2xxx will register first thing tomorrow rock cafe is good for beer and football deathnite- what u study in? mind telling? i am thinking of getting a obd2 scan tool with bluetooth. then i can monitor my car anytime i want. will cost few hundred bucks though. obd2 scan tool woth bluetooth? what is that? me? what i study? look my siggy ma. haha. |
