alamak he give u the least discount. my Sales Assistant show me the promo paper. its 6k - 7k. so its up to them when it comes to discount. lucky i know da price since i told him i saw in forum 7k then he give me 7k liao. As for stock im also quite afraid they wudnt have but then think again, if they wudnt have stock for it, would they put on such promotion? Branch and dealer alot difference. If branch they can get more stock and they can request stock from other branches. I'll call him up and enquire. did your SA told you that if there is no stock you can get back your booking money?

A power loss below 2000rpm & feels like a minor jerk but not stalling.

Happens between engine startups. means also if I pull over & restart engine the problem gone.

Just wonder...how many ppl got this problem?

It's the TDC sensor, either the cleaning or installation process were not done correctly..

happened to me twice in the span of 6 months..cleaned it and solved..still using the old type with the black connector.

They insisted that they've rearranged the cables...... & cleaned them....

I think they wont do soldering like renautech lah...that one hv to wait till warranty gone then send to ranautech....

Their reply to me is same to proton...

It's not sensor related & they do not have a solution yet either......

But differ from what proton says is to renautech, this happened to AMT only while proton says both transmission will have same problem.....

today just saw that the savvy promo is extended till end of sept! so those goyang goyang dunno want to book or not better act fast!

i think no point getting the 2007 stock, because 2008 stock got
- 5 year warranty
- less problem as proton rectify most of it (think tdc sensor)
- face value also higher when u resale
- now the promo is worth around 2-3k anyway. (free service, free petrol)

Yupe. The promotion is extended to end of September. Might just book one for myself by the end of this month, since I see alot of good feebacks from you all. Btw, I have been hunting for car to test drive for almost 2 months but couldnt find any so far. I might be dropping by the Proton Show room along NKVE cause I saw the group of fancy Savvys are back from their road show. I missed the roadshow and all the Savvys were not around for test drive the last time I went there.

But the was I think I will go for the Metal Gray... Looks cool

Oh oh I almost forgot... I was at a dealers in Kelana Jaya just next to that second hand shop... they guy told me that if I get the car from him M-LIne, he could install the following for me for a small sum of RM1.8k
1) Tinting with safety protection (things could not puncture through your tint)
2) Reverse Sensor
3) Security Lock (by locking the brake pedal)
4) Auto Central Lock when you hit the brakes after you have started the car.

I think its a very good deal there...

now almost all showrooms got test drive car.

m-line
tinting... can do outside anytime
reverse sensor very cheap at brothers
security lock - can get at brothers very cheap also
auto central lock - some mod required.

overall i think its not worth it. sommore, seems like the electronics in savvy is very sensitive. better not to mod too much unless u want to void the warranty, or there is no warranty at all.

yup don't want to dampen your mood but the brake lock can be done cheaply outside at least RM50 with a nice switch..MT should be fine to do that while AMT is a bit complicated since the AMT system is also wired to the brake pedal, but I've seen many AMT users done this mod w/o any problem.

and I thought reverse sensor is standard for all savys?

Hi you can try to PM MOHA774 in savoc.net...he cleaned the wiring harness from the sensor to the ecu and the problem solved..slow crank, hard to start I insist it has something to do with the TDC sensor ..

They also insist that the startup is not "hard to start" where the car crank several time & still cannot start....

ah...maybe...proton talkingthe truth, D4F is having this problem.....

Even reputable Renautech already said so...what else can I say...all sensor value no problem.....

diff within hi-line n m-line is the first got abs, airbag. thats all i guess.
