btw hypermount, thanks for update my list name.

more info: h-line energy orange 2007 model. biggrin.gif

still wonder which part of sensor got wet by water. =.="

could be the spark plug well get wet with water - hence the ignition related prob like what I've said earlier... I suspect it's due to water is not drain properly thru the gutter panel - the black panel under the wiper during heavy rain - hence water go into the engine bay...the hole is stuck with leaves, twigs, debris etc.

The AMT wiring is linked to the door and brake - that's why when you open the door - got somekind of whirring sound. and gear auto downshift when pressing brake. Only in AMT savvy...

The radiator fan is normal man - typical of continental cars. SO DO NOT ever restart and shut down the engine to force the fan to stop spinning. Let it stop spinning itself. To save more fuel, when you drive w/o aircon you will encounter this more often nowdays. You can feel hot air draft from the back of the car, quit powerful. Scared the shit out of my mech once when the fan keep spinning. Functions like a turbo timer.

Ya, me too. No major problems. Its a good all-round car (great for both short & long distance travel). The car still feels solid to drive after 3 years. I haven't changed my tyres yet, but i know i have to ASAP. sweat.gif sweat.gif

Got my sterling grey 2007 M-Line AMT today.

Went through the checklist with the SA, and everything checks out OK.

Took the car on the highway for engine break-in, right up to 145km/h.

Very stable and thank god, a rattle-free interior. Happy with the Savvy!

(2nd time my car hit 170km/h sweat.gif) actually the story begin when i saw a white SE MyVI driving so fast (that time my speed around 120km/h). then,i tailgating the myvi at 150-160km/h! guess what? my car can push even faster. the matter of fact, myvi will never beat SAVVY tongue.gif

i dare to do so cos my petrol usage is claimable tongue.gif

Yeah, I was quite surprised that a small car like the Savvy can be pushed to more than 140km/h without breaking a sweat.

I have driven the Alfa 156 selespeed and surprisingly the AMT is not too bad in comparison. thumbup.gif

No lah bro, I was not comparing the Alfa 156 with the Sawy...power-wise.
Just the selespeed technology vs AMT. Both uses hydraulic actuators to shift gears.
Only difference is the Alfa uses a paddle-shift on the steering wheel instead. icon_rolleyes.gif

I got that when first got that car,,rectified during 1st 1K km service, something to do with the coil spring and bush.

Savvy is stable cos the chassis is rigid enough, you can feel it when going bumps or potholes, the whole chassis held it well together..even bigger cars like gen.2 and nip cars can't be compared. no need waste money on strut bars and other suspension mods.

120-130km/h is the sweetest spot for me..160km/h still stable even on my 13'' wheels and tyres..

and yea saga BLM stability also sucks... beroktua cars no need mention la...the worst is viva, the doors , the ride, steering, gearbox everything sux to the max..really like a toy car, nip cars gene.

Added on June 25, 2008, 5:44 pmSOmething to ponder on..

WIth the 1.2 engine...weight of the car is same.

Twingo 1.2

Urban Fuel
39.2 mpg - 16.67 KM/L (6 L/100KM).

Extra Urban - 26.1 KM/L (3.83 L/100KM).
61.4 mpg

Combined
50.4 mpg - 21.43 KM/L (4.67 L/100KM).

Twingo 1.2 turbo

Urban Fuel
36.2 mpg - 15.39 KM/L (6.5 L/100KM).

Extra Urban
57.6 mpg - 24.49 KM/L (4.08 L/100KM).

Combined
47.8 mpg - 20.32 KM/L (4.92 L/100KM).
