Hi,
I have bought a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 with pre-installed DD-WRT V24 SP1 from lowyat few days ago. If I want to upgrade to new or older version firmware, can I upgrade through DD-WRT web page (administration > firmware upgrade) ?
please advice, TIA !

I find many shops, all WRT54GL linksys router out of stock. So my sis say just buy this since it support DD-WRT and pre-installed, she scare I brick the router, so in the end just buy it. >.< It's Rm200 FYI after discount from C-zone. anyway, thanks for helping ! |

hi, do you guys face frequent msn dc or always leave from chatroom??
any solution for tis?? not sure whether its the firmwware or connection problem... but im sure its not dc from internet coz my ip is still the same and my game still runs well...
im using wrt54gl wif DD-WRT V23 SP2 if not mistaken....

Sometimes this is not the router's problem. Few factors for this 1. U're downloading at high speed, using 90-99% of ur bandwidth at that moment. 2. Ur connection is not efficient, ping loss. 3. MSN network has problems. Personally i do have the msn dc very frequently when im downloading at high speed... |

hmm im not dling at high speed, as i limit my bt to 20kb and 100 connection only.... and i dun think msn have network problem coz have been facing tis problem for quite some time.. dun think msn hav problem for so long ma...  and for the ping loss, tis 1 im not sure lo, ehehe, anyway to check?? |

after pinging, which figure sud i c? thrs no packet loss when pinging those website
and is thr major improvement if i upgrade from v23 to v24???
if im goin to flash to v24, what step should i take?? im using wrt54gl wif DD-WRT v23 SP2 (09/15/06) std now...
can i juz go flash it to v24 or do i hav to flash back to its original firmware first?? and which file do i use??

If u're using dd-wrt firmware at the moment. There's no need to revert back.
U can juz firmware upgrade at the Administration page
Guys... currently im using DIR-300 with dd-wrt, izzit possible for me to create another public wifi which can only get connected to the router as Local Area Network where it is not possible to use the Internet?
