Newest router comes with dual band radio meaning have 2 chipset or got 3 triple band ( 3 chipset )  inside it meaning it can run wireless A, B, G or N at the same time ( MESH )

Single band is one chipset :-) running mix B n G mode at the same time or B,G,N at the same time

Price are quite difference for dual band because it much more expensive

Which router i should go for? E3000 or RT-N16? Just wondering the internal antenna quality.

I personally use RTN-16 and it works great with dd-wrt :-)

I use RT-N16 as well.
- attach 2 usb hardisk to it
- 1 x Torrent server
- 1 x FTP server

I would like to get E3000 but worried the signal range compare with RT-N16.

I'm using Linksys E3000 with DD-WRT (build 16785) Std USB NAS. Which channel width I should select 20Mhz or 40Mhz for my 2.4Ghz? And I have disable the 5Ghz will it reduce my wireless signal?

What router do u use ? Should be able to downgrade or upgrade by using the correct method :-)

I'm using Linksys E3000, just flash back to the original firmware and reflash to dd-wrt to solve my problem.
