Bro,

I would advise u to get a "test-drive" from either one of the PDA phone shop... then if you decided to go for it after the "test-drive".... compare the price with few shops on the price and the package they are giving.

not too sure how much is the japan's omnia, but i hope Samsung wont release another better Omnia phone so soon. is like you spend 2899 for omnia today, the next time became 2400, then 2000, then price drop drop drop.. just hate this feeling.. technology is moving too fast laaa. blink.gif

a 3.5 mm audio jack that is used in Walkmans, Discmans and most MP3 players. It is easier for us to listen to music since we can just buy those aftermarket earphone/headphone without going through the adapter that is connected to our Omnia port.

anyone knows why i can't play divx file? i put some divx files and i tried to play it but i'm only be able to play one file... the rest of the divx files i can just play for 8 seconds then it will jump to another file... why is that so?

another thing is, i set my ring type as normal ring (not increasing ring) but why when i receive incoming call, the ringtone is like increasing ring? the first 2 seconds it rings in kinda low volume but when it comes to the 3rd second it started to ring loud all the way... is that normal?
*
may I know what software do you use to play those divx file? most probably some of those divx file are encoded in xvid format so you need players like Core Player or TCPMP to play them.

about the ringtone issue, it is a known bug that the ringtone starts slowly in normal ringtone mode.

Thank you for your response. Actually I'm not sure where the transferred files located. I just ask my daughter to transfer the files via bluethooth and I accepted the transfer but can't locate the files. Any possible file that I should check?

if cannot then can i install 'real player' into my Omnia to play rmvb file? or do i need the real player mobile version? does this exist?

i'm still not so sure of how to install software into my Omnia... what kind of softwares can i install?

sorry sharpman, i know it's a lot of questions but i'm just an Omnia newbie so got a lot of things i don't know... sad.gif ...

thanks for your time in answering my questions... notworthy.gif ...

wanna speed up the system responsiveness of omnia? try this little tweak...

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL WINDOWS MOBILE USER ! brows.gif

Brief intro :
Most of you guys heard of NetCF 1.0 / 2.0 / 3.5 right?. For those who are not sure here is the brief about it;
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Most of the cooked rom is cooked in with this netCF3.5 so you guys must be asking.....so what are the benefit of NetCF 3.5? Read here;
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

For your info, most of WM's stock rom is using netCF2.0 ! sweat.gif That's why those who are using cooked rom noticed the overall speed and performance gained over the stock rom. By just installing netCF 3.5 over stock rom WILL NOT gain any benefit out of it because this will not override the default netCF2.0 in the system. It's just merely reside in the system and let you install netCF3.5 written application to be install in your device e.g Auto Configurations Tools 3.2 etc etc .......

You need to 'instruct/tell' your system to use this netCF3.5 to really unleash it power! That's what this tweak is all about.

All you need is only 'this' little tool to the job and of course the netCF3.5 file, that's it ! Both are made in cab file for easy installation. Just copy both file to your device and install from your device. No hard reset / soft reset required !! and good news is this will not do any harm to your system  rclxm9.gif

YOU WILL ENJOY 'CLOSE' TO THE SPEED AND PERFORMANCE OF COOKED ROM WITHOUT NEED TO FLASH ONE! brows.gif

Here's the file you need;

It's not about this better or that better. Its about storage.
Porn will not fit much into 8GB smile.gif
