New Omnia 16GB user here. Need some info. Do you guys Omnias tend to be warm always? mine is always warm, sometimes hot, even after i close all the application. Some more my battery cannot even last a day and i dont use the phone that much. Im using G4 FW.

Any idea? advise?

but the I1 FW is not even officialliy release yet right? do you know when?

Found out why my phone was running out of battery too fast. Is because i forgot to turn of the port splitter used for MapKing. Crazy nicely makan my battery. Also guys, not too sure why they keep trying to connect to GPRS automatically. DUnno which program asking it to connect, cause i didnt on my wireless ma. Surely kena charge liow. Any idea how to disable it?

Aik? Got garmin application for WM 1 a? Is it free or need to purchase?

guys, do your Omnia display showing some banding issues as well?

Hope you guys knows what is banding means, is very common on LCD screens when displaying Gradient color tones. You can see that it is not smooth.

i was using nokia for more than 7 years. the reason i change was because i was tired of symbian. hehe.

not too sure, for me i feel symbian is too slow. not too sure about WM yet, so decided to give it a try 1st.hehe

i guess omnia tried to reduce the number of button/ports physically at the side of the body to keep its stylish design. ekeke...

i agree with u, sometime is really hard to touch the tiny arrows on the screen. not too sure norma pda phones are like this or not, oh well maybe they have stylus built in so whenever needed just pull out, while omnia dont have and have to carry around.

yup it will charge, but weirdly is will not charge when the battery is completely dead. need to charge from normal power source for few minutes before using usb.

btw usb charge very slow.

yes i face the same issue too, what i did was i rename them to normal characters only then it can be transfered.

I got another issue too, and since you are using G4 also, i not too sure you are experiencing this.

Is been exactly a week i purchased my omnia, but today is the 3rd time my phone some sort of hang, when i press the on/off button to restore my phone from standby, no display appeared, but the phone is still on, because when ppl call me or send me sms i can receive, just that the screen wont came on. i try to turn it off but cannot as well, need to reset.

any of you face this issue? i hope is because of firmware issue and not hardware. Im using G4 FW.

haha, till now i haven't try to download any movie to my omnia yet. but usually i dont watch rmvb file. i know that chinese series that we normally watch are in rmvb file. not too sure and i remember i read it somewhere - they said might be the screen size or our color resolution is preventing certain movie cant be watched smoothly.. correct me if im wrong.. i just hope my phone hang is not because of hardware issue, is FW..

also play movie got cracking sound also. sweat.

is it normal that when we snap pictures, our omnia screen is not showing it sharp but a bit blurrish, compared to when we see the picture on our computer???

i dont think so bro, i experience same issue with my n73 and my friends k800i when taking near shots with flash, the result is just white and can't really see the stuff we are taking in close shots.

Dont think your camera lense protector causes the issue though. you can try to remove the lense protector and take some close shots with flash to try it out though .

i mean in the screen of our omnia, when snap photo, the outcome is clear but not really sharp. i think is because our omnia screen resolution?
