I do not know if it applies only to west Malaysia.

However, do note that the CLP exam is conducted by the Qualifying Board.

Therefore, if the Qualifying Board does not allow you to register for CLP exam then it would be pointless even if it is recognised in East Malaysia.

Common law reasoning and institutions [2650030]
Criminal law [2650010]
Elements of the law of contract [2650040]
Public law [2650020]

U can buy new books if u want to if u have the money but there's nth wrg opting for the other option. It's whether u eventually use it or not xD coz i've bought new books myself which i did not use also doh.gif

As for advise, just take and learn things at ur own pace and make sure u really understand 1st and when it comes to exams, study smart ie. go through the past year Qs so u can roughly know what kinda Qs u will be expecting then practise on that. The exam structure in my year and now is different for CLR and Public law i think so can't really comment much on it. The rest is really simple and straight forward itself by looking at the subject ie. criminal and contact law smile.gif

All the best ya! smile.gif

Record your practice performance and review it before the actual competition.

There should be examination fees
You will only incur tuition fees should you enrol in any private college.

I may be wrong because the last time that I checked the LL.M section was at least a year ago.

No she may not. It does not apply retrospectively. You must use your result to enter LL.B and that result must have 2 principals in one sitting.

The Qualifying Board will look at her A levels result when she tries to register for CLP.

you will have to pay additional examination fees totalling less than RM3k to the local board, but that is subject to change.

I dunno about other subjects, but for the UOL LLM in IP, the subject guides are pretty thin, and u can basically rely on them to get through. Whatever it is, the LLM is knowledge based, and is easier than any given LLB Part level examination imho.
