Nope, unless you're galactose (not lactose, mind you) intolerant.

Yes - especially, if your baby is further down and is facing backwards (occiput posterior) position.

I have found a right and convenient way and practices during confinement!!! rclxms.gif
So glad that my cousin had introduced me to attend Dr.Peiling Goh's seminar last month in the recent 7th Parenthood Expo in Mid Valley. I have learn alot of myths and taboos of confinement and the methods to a proper confinement for modern women.

It's funny how our grandparents, aunties and even our mom say funny things about confinement "pantang & larang" such as cannot used scissor during pregnancy, cannot move furniture in the house, drinking lots of alcohol during confinement, etc ...... . rclxub.gif Apart from all this, we have so many conflicting 'advises' from so many 'advisers'.

I always wonder what is the right and proper way of a good confinement.. I am so delighted that Dr.Peiling Goh will be launching her 2nd Book "Falling In Love With Confinement" next month and that would be good for us newly mommies to read and learn more!!! Heard there will be MORE CONFINEMENT RECIPES, NEW TIPS, KNOWLEDGE & The DO's and DON'T on baby care & confinement care. smile.gif Tho, i have read Dr. Peiling Goh 1st book.. i find it very knowledgeable and what's more when you know she will be launching her second book!

Dr.Peiling Goh's personal Fan Page. follow her and she will guide you through your confinement [/COLOR]

yes, but trust me it's not a walk in the park for the wife either. i'd say that the first trimester is the nastiest out of all the trimesters!

it will get better after about 12 wks. Just hang on there smile.gif

Yup, had headaches when i was pregnant. But then again, it's usually due to myself being hungry, low blood sugar and all that...

But stiff neck... hmm.. that one tak ada...

Chances are, there are side effects and it will affect you attempting to get pregnant. Best you seek the advice of a medical professional.

Pregnant women are v. likely to suffer from cramps throughout pregnancy. Most of the cramps will appear around legs and thumbs. I have never suffered from back cramp before, but if she does, ask her to sit up slowly after she wakes up every morning. Do not sit up straight too fast, that could be the reason?

If she suffers cramps from feet and thumbs, don't worry. You as her husband can help her ease the cramp or, she can also bent her feet towards herself to 30 degrees or so, to release the cramp.

I was taught by an old nurse. And it really worked.
