A good enough explanation here. Whatever it is, you have to confirm with your doctor which exact medication he'll be giving you and let him explain what it is for. If he doesnt, remember to ask!

Regarding your first paragraph on D&C causing better fertility rate, hmmm.. I wont agree with that simply because it's not needed in your case! smile.gif
*
The need to do a D and C would depend on the type of abortion, not the fertility rate. If you have a complete abortion, there is no need to do a D&C because there is nothing to curette out. But if you have an incomplete abortion or any retained products, D&C is vital, because the retained products can cause a lot of trouble and maybe even cost you your life if it is not removed.

By doing abortions, you are actually at risk of not being able to conceive in the future. Imagine when you are married, financially prepared and you can't have a baby because of the abortion.

And I've read a lot of stories on girls/women who took the easy way out and end up regretting it for the rest of their life. The guilt. You'll miss the little thing in you.

Abortion=Killing a life!

So if you are looking for ways to get rid of the little precious, why don;t you look for ways on how to earn extra money so that you are financially ready for the baby?

yes, that is its an elected abortion. But spontaneous abortions do occur to people who want their pregnancy. Its commonly called miscarriage. D+C will sometimes need to be done for spontaneous abortion in which the conceptus has not fully aborted

It's good when things are always black and white, isn't it?

Imagine this. You're a girl, then you were raped. You got pregnant as a result of that. Would you keep the baby knowing the baby is the child of your rapist? As much as the baby is your child, the hurt is still there. Would you, as a human being, be able to look past that hurt to have the baby and raise the child free of hate? And what about the society? What about their scorn and the stigma you and the baby will have?

I am pro-choice. I don't agree with abortion as a birth control method. I do, however, agree on abortion on certain conditions - condition being if the mother's life is threatened by having the baby.

In the rape case pregnancy, if I was in that situation, I'd have the baby. If there is no harm in me as mother to carry the baby to full term, then I'd carry the baby and raise the baby as best as I could.

at first, she'll have contraction pains, which will get more frequent & intense..
imagine that you have a stomachache, went to toilet, but nothing comes out, & stomach still hurts.. something like that.. tongue.gif
during the delivery of the head, the vagina will feel painful, coz it;s being streeeeetched really badly..
but the delivery of the head is usually a very swift process..

of coz, the husband's hand will feel pain when kena genggam by the wife.. tongue.gif

hehe.. no prob.. smile.gif no offense taken..
hmm..
well..contrary to what you see on TV, we actually don't encourage Moms to scream.. tongue.gif
the actual birth process can be quite fast if the Mom knows the correct way to push..
& episiotomy can be avoided if the birth is conducted by an experienced doctor/midwife.. provided that the baby's estimated birth weight is small, & the mom's perineum (area between the vagina & anus) is not too short..
