I am good...just a little busy lately so no time to participate in forum.

Pennywise, I was just at Dr Lian's last Saturday as we continue to get treatment for Buffy. Thankfully, this time, the medication is working well and her rashes are getting much better. According to Dr Sia, she feels that some insect bit her or she is allergic to something so the vet has asked us to try to keep Buffy away from the garden for now.

I don't think it is the food as she is now already eating the vegetarian food from Avoderm.... blink.gif

Dr Sia? I thought she dont work on weekends anymore? Or maybe not on Sundays. They hired a new doctor, should be a fresh grad.

Few weeks ago, I went with Marquis for his final vacination. She actually picked Marquis up and asked us questions vets dont usually ask before vaccination:
1. How's his appetite?
2. How's his stool?
3. Shower already?
etc

Then I asked her to checked for ear mites and she asked me back if I cleaned them, I said I do, everyday as per advised. She picked Marquis up and bend over, smell and sniff Marquis's year for yeast. I was... shocked and nearly laughed out but tahan... Funny la this new doctor.

Am glad to hear Buffy is much better now. Try to keep her off the gardens lor. Your house dont have fence / gate, then if they run outdoor, you need to supervise? How far do you allow them to go unleashed?

interesting questions... tongue.gif

Dr Sia was there leh...didn't know got new doctor even.

I have a side and front garden. The side one has fencing so that's where both dogs do their peeing and pooing. And in the hot afternoons, they go out there and sun tan... thumbup.gif

ihawk98,
Yes, there's a new doctor there. I think is Dr. Koh or Dr. Khoo, forgot her name.

Since Sparky and Buffy do their biz at the side garden, how big exactly is the garden? Do you wipe their paws when they walk back into the house? Can grass grow well when they poo on the spot? Usually the grass turn yellow, wither and die, right?

benjac,
Dont worry, one week take 5 photos, you can later do a photobook to see how much he has grown. Are you home with him all the time?

I agree with doraemon11. If you're committed, I don't see how difficult it is to find a westie since they're becoming more common these days. You can google irene kang or try pet safari in ikano.

i fell in love with westies when i was a kid i remember drawing westies i saw from the encyclopedia ..

i like white fur dogs n maybe thats one of the reason why..
my previous dog Dollee is white too but local mix breed,... My grandpa bought it back in 1988 (1988-2005)
Passed away when she is 17yrs old..here is my dollee www.mydollee.com

Took me some time to get over it.. Now i feel like getting a new dog but i am still waiting for my new house to be renovated. planning to get a westie.. just now i started reading from page 1 till page 28 on this thread to get to know more bout westie n reading post from westie owners...

Seems like getting one from irene sounds like a good idea since i saw scubby's picture... soooo adorable.. i dont mind travelling to penang to get one since getting a dog is smth longterm for 15-20 yrs to come.
Need to discuss wif my family first before jumping in the westie bandwagon..lol

btw to all the westie owners here..all of your westies are so cute...
casper, moonie, marquis, snow, snowball, tweety n scubby ....

aragonlee,
If you seek for only the best, I think Irene's pups would be ideal for you lor. I think her next litter is only some time early next year?

wzseow,
Wow, snowball fur very long liao ah... the head also so round. Very nice! smile.gif

joeylny,
One of the reasons I like westie is cause they're whites too. But dont let their looks fool you, some of them are attention demanding dogs. Hard to please some times but yet still very lovable.
