QUOTE
Development on Avatar began in 1994, when Cameron wrote an 80-page scriptment for the film.[7] Filming was supposed to take place after the completion of Titanic, for a planned release in 1999, but according to Cameron, the technology was not yet available to portray his vision of the film.[8][9] Work on the language for the film's extraterrestrial race began in summer 2005, and Cameron began developing the script and fictional universe in early 2006.

Just lose yourself to the plot and keep an eye out for startlingly beautiful sceneries... savor the "epic-ness" that unfolds towards the end when all hell breaks loose. omg... i so want to watch this part...

Mahathir you scumbag, you know Avatar is not real, right?

Dr M says 9/11 attacks staged to hit Muslim world

“In September 2001, the World Trade Centre was attacked allegedly by terrorists. I am not sure now that Muslim terrorists carried out these attacks. There is strong evidence that the attacks were staged. If they can make Avatar, they can make anything,”

There are reports saying James Cameron dissed Meryl Streep and also said that all the Haiti funds go to administration and not to the victims... also 'reportedly' backstage he was incredibly high of himself... typical Cameron behavior in my opinion. He is superbly talented, but not really a people's person imo.

Not sure if someone already post before or not. Just for fun. I'm among who think this movie is watchable not you're-freaking-lame-for-not-watching-this-flick kind of movie. How realistic actually the Pandora is? To me it looks like other 3D CGI to me. No biggie.

James cameron will tell him that if the special effect level in avatar is available in 2001 he would not have waited so many years to made it.

Okay I know I'm super late tongue.gif

I'm going to watch Avatar 3D at Cineleisure this Sat biggrin.gif

I read from newspaper review said that some might experience dizziness especially on the 3D version? How true is that? I read the review here, no one seems to complain about the dizziness? Hmmm.

Ohya, my ticket is RM12. The price is already inclusive of the lending of 3D glasses, ya?

Yup, there will be a bit dizzy.... but it will blow you off your seat... when the rocket fired, it like wanna went out the screen... all the beautiful life in the jungle came alive.... for the experience..very high class..

but for me... when watching 3D, ... im a bit dizzy when focusing on the story and the acting while the background things eg. leaves, trees, debries from fire were flying around and looks like came out from the screen, your eyes will not able to focus on the actors/actress it self.........

2D is better understanding to the movie...more feeling to the actors/actress...

example... i've aredy watch avatar 3 times, 2 times in 2D and 1 in 3D... there's are scene when jake sully proudlly said "and this, this is our land",.... there were almost tears in my eye when i watch in both 2D, but in 3D, I cant concentrate it because background of that scene got a lot of thing that interrupt my concentration..

nevertheless, it maybe happen only to me.....overall good and simple movie that capture all human heart...

If you watch in 3D dont sit too infront in the cinema. Seat row J and above is better. You can concentrate better coz the depth of field is much clearer that way. I know this coz i watched 12 times already.
