it was beautiful, a feast of colors for the eyes, and the 3d in the cinema made everything even better. but one drawback, the storyline was boring ><"
well not boring per se, more towards overly cliche'd. i mean, you'd think that if the guy is gonna blow 300mil on a movie he could at least write a better story.

and this doesnt even compare to star wars, what made star wars awesome was that it was a futuristic sci fi movie which was very original for its time, avatar on the hand, besides its technological advances did not present an original and predictable albeit entertaining story. i got bored waiting for the movie to end ><"

anyways, gonna catch it in imax 3d next in a couple of weeks, just to see if theres a big diff between imax 3d and real3d.

The story was boring of course, but on how its told, how its executed, everything was damn good smile.gif

I hope there won't be a sequel, it's a fine movie on its own. All those extras can be insert into the Blue Ray release. Well its just me but Blue Ray is a MUST BUY for this movie smile.gif

plus in digital 3d, you won't get any visual tearing, lines and etc from the conventional 35mm film

I wonder if AVATAR will beat James's previous own record of Titanic's 600MIL Box Office Records?
*
TDK was the closest it can get to Titanic in the domestic market
The thing is can it beat Titanic's worldwide gross of 1.8 billion

I think 5th row should be good.

Now to anyone who has been to hall 4 in pavilion (the bigger of the two 3D halls), is row 4 too near to the screen? I'm not sure how big and far the screen is from the seats. faster reply please I wanna buy the tickets now lol

Best to go middle and 5th row from the screen

You asked if I was even expecting it to beat Titanic domestically, of course I expected that from the response of the movie itself
