@TeraPox,
I had NO idea there was a Priority Lounge @ LCCT. Am also wondering if U know whether Citibank has the same priviledge in accessing that lounge? I do know we can get into the Priority Lounge @ KLIA. So, RHB gives better benefits when it comes to these lounges huh?! Now, I certainly have to consider RHB!! *ggrRrrr* PS: I am also assuming this benefit is meant for their Platinum cardholders? |

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Jun 16 2008, 09:38 AM) for my current situation, the maximum utilisation of CC benefits is UOB ONE Plat. Im also using One card at BHPetrol and GSC, and Maybank on other things.pump petrol, n shopping at Carrefour - routine transactions. others, GSC movie. But this just came into my mind... Do u think using Maybank/other cards at GSC is more worthy than using One card that gets 5% rebate? Lets calculate... If i buy 1 ticket (RM10) at GSC using One card, i get RM0.50 rebate. But if i use Maybank to buy, i will get 10 points (RM1 = 1 point).. So does this 10 points worth more than RM0.50 ? Anybody that has actually free enough to calculate how much does Maybank points or other bank's points are worth? This is an example of stuffs can be exchanged starting from 2000 points. And so goes to comparison using One card or Maybank or other card at Carrefour.... I dont usually buy stuffs at Carrefour that goes above RM100 to be eligible for the rebate.. @TeraPox,
I just checked RHB's website. Apparently, only the Visa Infinite credit card allows access into airport lounges. My question now is, how difficult is it to obtain this card as opposed to their usual Platinum card? Also, are U issued a separate Priority Pass membership card or is it linked with ur Visa Infinite card? This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Jun 16 2008, 02:05 PM |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 16 2008, 02:00 PM) @TeraPox, As I said b4... I don't have a RHB card yet... but i know that they are issuing a separate Priority Pass membership card to you once they approve your visa. I just checked RHB's website. Apparently, only the Visa Infinite credit card allows access into airport lounges. My question now is, how difficult is it to obtain this card as opposed to their usual Platinum card? Also, are U issued a separate Priority Pass membership card or is it linked with ur Visa Infinite card? the card that access me into the priority lounge is my EON bank Visa... which does almost the samething as the priority pass except that it only valid for LCCT, KLIA and Changi... in a word, my EON bank card is not "as powerful" as priority pass interm of accessing priority lounges... so, my plan is...to cancel my EON bank soon,and switch to RHB... |

Upon approval of your card, you'll get 2 cards -one being your credit card and the other one the Priority Pass. You'll need both cards to enter the airport lounge if I'm not mistaken. You'll need to pay to enter the airport lounge if I'm not mistaken. (Priority Pass is a membership actually which the bank bears the membership fees being you as a Platinum card holder) To obtain VISA Infinite - it's requirements is more or less equivalent to a Citigold card member. |

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Jun 16 2008, 03:42 PM) The credit limit isnt based on the card u give them. If these are true then why do the bank insist that your credit card need to be @ least 1 year old before using it as reference to apply a new card. In fact, some are more aggressive when they can make do with a 6 or 10 months card. Sometimes the banks makes it a little hard by asking for a 18 months old card before it can be used to make reference when applying for a new card.They have their own risk calculation system. All they need to find out is whether u are a good pay master or not (payment). Anyone can explain this phenomena ? |
