@vin_ann,
The 2% rebate from DA is only applicable on their MasterCard, not Visa.  I believe what arsenal meant is that when U put in an application for a credit card, DA will issue U both their Visa & MasterCard! smile.gif
*
I received my 2% rebate at the end of the billing cycle... promptly and automatically

Citibank Shell Card is practically holding all the rebates.. DAMN Citibank vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif
I collected more than RM40+ still don't deduct... mad.gif

RM 1 = 1 points. No points are awarded for petrol purchases.

And it's valid for 3 years starting year 2008. Previously, only valid for one year.

need to confirm how exactly do we get the 20 day 0% interest charges.

if I paid my statement in full like...today. Then tomorrow I use the card again to buy something else. My next statement balance won't be RM0 for sure. Does that mean I don't qualify for the 20 day 0% interest charges for my other purchases?
*
20 days interest free is from the Last Statement Date to the Due Date
Eg. Your statement is 15 of every month, the due date would be 20 days after the 15th (ie. 5th of the next month)
You don't pay any interest for that 20 days only...

I don't always pay in full...most of the time I leave about 100-200 bucks balance in the card and keep the money in savings account. Now gonna pay in full la to enjoy the 20 day 0% free-interest.

@ronnie
dun quite understand what you mean. But what if I make a purchase on the 17th...after the statement arrives. Does that mean I get a 28 day 0% free-interest?
*
Yes... so I always buy right after the statement date to get "more" value. Worse is when you swipe 1/2 day before the statement date hehehe

@Aeon_Clock,
Just make sure when the bill comes, U make full payment and before the due date.  If U do that, U don't haf to worry much about the bill cycle wink.gif
*
That's what I always do.
If you can't pay in full every month, time to look at your spending as it exceeds your income wink.gif

DA Mastercard 2% rebate is credited automatically at the end of your statement date. You can see from CIMBclicks also.

Some places don't accept AMEX because the merchant need to bear high admin cost compared to Visa and MasterCard... Similar to Diners Club. charge card seem to be a dying breed.

Citibank Shell Card is really bad in giving back the rebates.
Collected until RM47 and still doesn't deduct.
Called their slow CS and they said I need to swipe at Shell to get the rebate deducted... what the F*CK !!!!

Never going to touch a Citibank card ever again... I guess they may use the same rebate trick for their Giant co-brand card.

@ronnie,
What do U mean u can onli get the rebate deducted when U use the card at Shell?  In the first place, isn't the rebate only applicable to Shell petrols?!  And how do they give U back this rebate if it's not credited into ur statement?

The SCB Visa Infinite's too high class for most of us; perhaps U should check with TeraPox if he's gonna get it - he's the one who's collecting Platinum Cards tongue.gif
*
The RM47 rebate is on my statement but never used to credit back. I'm a Petronas user. Will use the card for one last time at Shell just ot enjoy the credit of the reabte. Else bye bye Citibank forever and ever. Worse bank ever.
It offers 0.5% rebate on other retail purchases besides Shell petrol (1.5%)

SCB Vis Infinite is a grade higher than Platinum.
