@ridd
Good attitude mate and you're smart to learn the ins and out of the phone first before you purchase. Keep with this attitude and you'll go really far.
Unlike some who does not even bother to find answers or google for answers before they post/open new thread with dumb redundant questions and behave like babies, waiting to be spoonfeed all the time.
Anyway, have fun with your new iphone when you get it.
Cheers
David

@ kc3832
corrupted download is a possible reason.
try downloading again (preferably using a download program)

Backing up Iphone :
1. Open iTunes 2. Go to Preferences 3. Choose the syncing option 4. Remove the iPhone backup 5. Press OK and exit Preferences 6. Sync your iPhone
Thats it. You now have a fresh backup of your iPhone. Have fun.

i was wondering if i were to purchase from hongkong, what would happen to me? sorry i am not lazy to check and all but i've limited internet access here and i've been rushing all over the place lately trying to find bargain. i was wondering if an apple product bought online would have warranty throughout the world or something ? i've intention of purchasing some apple products and accessories here. please revert or message me... all your help is very much appreciated. any tips? hints? and tricks i should know? what about the iphone 3g, what are the ways i can check if the phone is unlocked officially or if the phone has been unlocked (unofficially) ? Thank you to all these kor kor and jie jie here who's willing to help me.
