just read through the FAQ session. I'm planning to order an Iphone from UK. Does this mean its dangerous? about the custom find out and kena fine thingy. and i dont really understand about the contract signing thing. anyone mind to explain to me?

i got the problem with +6 01x xxx xxxx with my friend sms.

when ppl call me, the display 01x xxx xxxx my contact doesn't show in name.

The phone in UK is not offically unlock. You may end up with an ipod. So to be safe, get it from S'pore which is officially unlock or browse in garage sale as some are selling S'pore sets.

On firmware 2.0.x, there's an function to import sim contacts.

I don't really understand your questions but most of the current apps on fw 2.0.x will not work with fw 1.1.4 vise versa.

But the band, pianist and drummer has already been ported over to fw 2.0.x in AppStore which u need to purchase.

Ya ..u need to purchase them. It's affordable ma..From RM 20-40 per application.

Anyway, about your friends phone. You can use software like winpwn 2.5 to unlock the iphone but you need to know what frimware tha phone is using.

i am using the latest 2.0.2 Fw.

how to import contactS ?

Goto Settings, click Mail, Contacts, Calender.

Look for Import SIM Contacts. This only import the sim contacts.

If you need to add your other contacts that's not in the simcard, you need to add them in your Addressbook application in windows or mac. Then sync your Addressbook via iTunes. You should have all your contacts in the phone.
