Yes confirm SEUS is working. Managed to re-flash my Indon set to SG firmware.

Essentially traded the anti-alias font feature with Chinese input with this move. I am fine with it. Since not a big fan of anti-alias unless it is cooltype.

just managed to flash my CDA to GW1 from Singapore's & updated to R9K009 using SEUS this morning.

still in the process of customising the settings of the phone. gotta edit all the contacts from the SIM.

anyway, it's an awesome phone. much more smoother & faster than my previous UIQ 3 phone , M600i.

i unsitalled divx player mobile some time ago. but now either i power on phone or unplugged usb from the phone, there will be a pop up asking me to install divx player. how to get rid of it ah? i already uninstalled it a while a go and deleted the installation file.

no, garmin doesn't require any data charges at all. y would they need data charges?
maps are provided free by mapking

google map aint accurate at all if using the cell tower as positioning.
gps wise, google map is way behind the major gps software provider.

for the place that i know, it is just for fun. it might even be a waste of time if you follow the direction on GPS as they can only show maps, but not various condition such as road condition, traffic lights and traffic jam (which i could figure our myself for the roads i usually access)

for the place that i have no idea about the road, it does work its magic

Why don't you try format your M2 and see how.

I don't think its necessary.
But we do want the latest firmware for latest updates, in both speed and stability.
I can't imagine an older firmware with WALKMAN 3.0.
I think it might be even more laggy, and I mean MORE.

All the problems I experienced before was due to the fact that I had the USA firmware..after i flashed to GW1 and did the update there were no more problems

Hi, mind to share what GPS module you are using? Plan to get the Holux brand, but so far I only know it works with TomTom...

2.0 and 3.0 is whole different thing, IMO.
3.0 is way much easier to manage if you have a lot of songs.
And of course, we want the 3.0's visualizers.
They're way too cool.

do i need to upgrade to 2.0 first before proceeding to 3.0?

anyway, just realised my set has the green tint issue. any way to solve it? i'm already on the latest R9K009.



by the way, any of your P1i is from china? mine the wordings on the battery & the sticker behind phone are all in chinese.

No, both are separate upgrades. You don't need 2.0 to use 3.0. But if you previously installed any Walkman 2.0 mod you will need to remove it first. My P1i is clearly written MADE IN CHINA. Very sad to hear your phone has the problem,hope SE comes up with a solution. Well hope so they do
