During update, before it gets to downloading firmware page, SEUS will detect your phone and its region, if the server is running fine, it will show your phone type actual picture e.g P1i. If the picture shown were wrong (general SE phone instead of your phone), then you'll know that SEUS has problem.

U fully charge your phone before updating? if 50% can or not?

U can find that on the SEUS website, it's recommended that battery level should at least 50%, i think that to play safe, let it charge yours for at least 60% ++ before proceed updating. It's your call, good luck.

I just got a new batch of 08' manufactured P1 phone with R9K009 F.W and it seems that the Camera Green Tint issue is still there. I dont think S.E ever rectified this problem. But I read from this forum that some of the users here dont face this problem. Does anyone here know how to eliminate the green tint? This is a great upgrade from my previous P990i but the green tint is really annoying me. Anybody got a solution to this?

I finally flash and update my phone. Everything went so well just well. Just finish update, and restarting my phone.

Now CDA shows: CDA 162024/95 R10A

I so happy now!!!

No, SE never rectified this problem. When buying it is advisable to check the camera shots of the unit before proceeding to buy. There was a case that one user went to give his phone to SE Service Center and changed the camera module where afterwards his camera had no more trace of green tint.
Post some sample pictures to let us see how severe yours is.

It is recommended you have a fully charged phone before firmware upgrades.

I never used Vista before but is there someway you can, "run the application under a XP environment" ? I heard a user here said something about visualizing XP.

wanted to flash it to the latest GW firmware as i do not really need Chinese.

so i just follow the steps given in the guide in the first page of this thread?

where do i get the script? or it's already available in XS++?

There's no default input.
The phone will remember your last input.
Which mean if you last used English, then the next time you open will be English, and vice versa.

Its already on XS++.
For GW, we no need to run custom script, as XS++ already scripted some famous firmware on it.
So just select from the list, and you're good to go.

Fresh RAM after closing contact and messaging, around 72MB.

After open those two, RAM will be around 68MB.

But RAM is not big issue. Coz i feel no big difference between my previous Indonesia version and this SG version. Haha

Just now keep type chinese sms to my frenz. Now stil non-stop typing coz need get used to its chinese input

Hey fx_53_xt why don't you try TomTom instead? Don't you need to pay data charges if you use Garmin?

for thouse who dun wan to spend on gps and had those unlimited date plan 1, can try install google map to use(if ur sense of direction is good )
