For everyone who has the "Application cannot be started" issue, I have found the solution. The problem is due to your phone's firmware which is causing the problem with the walkman player. So follow the steps below:

1. Delete all of the walkman 3.0 files you copied onto your P1i C:\ drive using swiss manager

2. Use XS++ to change your phone's firmware from whatever region it currently is to World Generic 1

3. Use SEUS to update your phone's firmware to R9K009 (P.S. the person who stated that a picture of the P1i should be shown during the update is correct)

4. Follow the steps on the first page of this post to install the Walkman 3.0 player

These steps will also solve the problem of having multiple firmwares on your phone as stated by some of the other individuals on this post.

This does work as I had the exact same problem as everyone else with walkman 3.0. Also be aware that I also experienced issues with my camera before I followed these steps. It appears the file KastorServer.exe was causing my P1i to freeze everytime I tried to load the camera app. After following these steps everything works perfectly now.

Hey fx_53_xt why don't you try TomTom instead? Don't you need to pay data charges if you use Garmin?

I think both..I'm in NYC and I use Tomtom on my P1 all the time to find which subway to take to get to places

All the problems I experienced before was due to the fact that I had the USA firmware..after i flashed to GW1 and did the update there were no more problems
