Well, lets hope its a SE problem because the way I see that you guys have done everything right,from USB drivers to reinstalling SEUS. Here is some users that have problem updating with SEUS, and now their phone is locked (bricked). Might be a separate case but I'll mention it nevertheless.

I'm using one that goes with Chinese input,everything is fine (well smooth for me). Except that the Walkman 3.0 mod is kind of sluggish sometimes, it ain't perfect though

SEUS totally stated "Update failed" right after SEUS finish downloading the firmware. So, at 0%, already "update failed"...

Hmm..Look like it is SEUS problem, as I also not able to update the firmware. It will show 'Error' Failed to Update. Duh.

Do u flash any firmware before updating using SEUS?

hi guy, hving a problem here, can anyone help me??? i alrdy hv walkman v2 in my p1i, recently just found walkman v3 from this thread. alrdy copy all files into instructed folder but after reboot still wmv2... do i hv to delete all the wmv2 files or reflash my fw b4 change 2 wmv3, pls help....

Did all the failures recently related to the modding of WM3.0 in our P1i?

R the users that failed to update modded WM3.0 in ur phone?(as a common)?

cause maybe by overwrite the WM3.0 in our hidden files may had moved some system files

Has anyone found any solutions on how to mod the w3.0 into p1i using vista? I still not able to install the w3.0 yet. All my pcs are in Vista.

Nope. I didn't flash any firmware. As of first page in V2, I followed what it stated, since HK got a new firmware therefore I would like to update it using SEUS but it fail me.

So do you think it is SEUS problem, as heard a lot also having problem update firmware lately using SEUS?

You know, when 2 people say a same thing, still okay.
When 3, still acceptable.
When it comes to 5, it really getting annoyed already.
You got the point?
No offense here, but we've already asked people to stop updating their phone in short time until 1 manage to get thru SEUS.
So, be patient.

ok guys, SEUS is up and running again, i just flashed my p1i after change my cda using xs++. Confirmed.

For everyone who has the "Application cannot be started" issue, I have found the solution. The problem is due to your phone's firmware which is causing the problem with the walkman player. So follow the steps below:

1. Delete all of the walkman 3.0 files you copied onto your P1i C:\ drive using swiss manager

2. Use XS++ to change your phone's firmware from whatever region it currently is to World Generic 1

3. Use SEUS to update your phone's firmware to R9K009 (P.S. the person who stated that a picture of the P1i should be shown during the update is correct)

4. Follow the steps on the first page of this post to install the Walkman 3.0 player

These steps will also solve the problem of having multiple firmwares on your phone as stated by some of the other individuals on this post.

This does work as I had the exact same problem as everyone else with walkman 3.0. Also be aware that I also experienced issues with my camera before I followed these steps. It appears the file KastorServer.exe was causing my P1i to freeze everytime I tried to load the camera app. After following these steps everything works perfectly now.
