I, myself, change the default A-Data 1GB ram to 2GB of Kingmax ram.

no problem so far

i am using kingston 2gb ram..so far no problem!

Added on September 10, 2008, 9:04 ambut now he open for order..u can place your order and only when the thing arrive u pay for it...the closing date is next week if i not mistaken..then he need 1-2 week for ordering..so when the thing arrive most probably end of the month oledi...or else you have to wait for next batch again... so you place your order oledi??

team elite issit really less power consumer??? how much you bought it??

haha no la they company which i've bought the notebook from upgraded to 2Gb for me using the team elite. they took back my adata 1gb

Hey, im just wondering, the 1000H model comes with 512 | 512 or just one 1gb ram? So let's say i want to upgrade my eee to 2gb ram, does this mean i have to buy 2 gb ram on my own?

Has anyone using car dc convertor to ac 220-240 volts where we can plug in our eee pc adaptor, selling about RM 70 to RM 90. There is also one comes with extra usb point. Saw a few models in it market.

Is it safe to use ? Anyone mind to share.

You can swap your ram by paying about rm 70 to rm 100 depending on the sellers.

Then, some sellers charge about rm 58 for one more year extended warranty, quite popular with eee pc users, it is optional.

Can you let me know what is the brand name of ram inside EE PC, is it the same brand name in every model of EE PC (ADATA) ?

Eee PC 1000H 160GB, i cant see any A DATA or Apacer sticker on the RAM.
But i saw many Apacer words on it.

EePC 900 Comes with A DATA.

Anyone here change the HDD??? which type of HDD will work on it? plan to upgrade to 320gb or 200gb... then the 80gb use as external storage by getting a external box for it

The extended warranty for my 1000H comes from the reseller at lowyat namely Evernew at rm 58 for one extra year.

It is not a very popular reseller but selling quite a number of eee pc. I do not think asus has the extended warranty.

Check with your resellers because i do not know about their arrangements with you. I also forgot the exact coverage.

Can somebody who bought from evernew, plse share ?

it's worth for money if JUST RM58 able to extend one more year for warranty. is just the warranty cover by ASUS itself or just that reseller? do you got any letter issue by ASUS regards the extended warranty program?

i think asus did not offer extended waranty for eee pc.. maybe is from the shop itself...

yup install it to D but there is still some of the component that will be install to C...try to do any editing on pic

seems like after a year will mod the eee
