tried photoshop cs2 in my 900

here come the testimonial... pretty fast... quite ok...i'm only just starting learn to use photoshop cs2 only..

ok for occasional photo editing but not suitable for long time photo editing use as the screen is so small...

other is ok.

forget to add another point, after install photoshop cs2, my c drive still got 1.24gb.

but how if new version of eee pc come out that time? lets say dual atom? will u still wan to change it or replace the whole thing???

hmm..u mean 2.5 Sata 5400rpm HDD?? wat is the actual HDD wind using???

there is a 320gb ver. of the wind in the market...so the mod is kind of like upgrading the hdd...and its use sata rite

hmm..then just only take out and replace issn't it?? everything is ready.

just like the ssd in the aspire..really easy to add in...have u guys try the lan connection?? is it fast or myb its my connection that is slow..myb its the server down again this week...

If i buy eee 1000HD, can install Eclipse and do Java rite? Cygwin also can rite? I hope it don't lag much ....

what do you means by full software? i install full version of the software.. but too bad.. i'm new learner in the photoshop cs2 and only know how to add text and touchup...

initial hdd space? hm~~ i can't remember.. let me go back and check check...
i install it in my drive d, photoshop took about 270mb of memory (if not mistaken)..

my c drive space a lot? i instll all the application in drive d... only install nod32 in drive c.. real player, photoscare, etc all in drive d

forget to say, mine is 900, 20gb, original linus version but i change to xp version

i have uninstall photoshop cs2... because i dunno how to use.. too complicate for computer dumb as me.

Windows XP SuperP AC - 811

Windows Vista SuperP AC - 795 / 695 / 731
Windows Vista 1.6Ghz AC - 668
Windows Vista 1.7Ghz AC - 740
Windows Vista 1.9Ghz AC - 811
Windows Vista 2.0Ghz AC - 840 / 868

Windows Vista SuperP Bat - 689
Windows Vista 1.9Ghz Bat - 808
Windows vista 2.0Ghz Bat - 863

AC means connected to adaptor, Bat means running on batteries.
SuperP means using the Super Hybrid Engine program, while the 1.9Ghz etc is using the respective maximum speed set using eeectl.

Also, the slashes indicated various runs. The SHE gives varied results compared to the eeectl.


edit : some people on eeeuser.net managed to get theirs running up to 2.3Ghz but those are very rare. The more common one is 2.0Ghz. Mine cant go more than 2.0Ghz. Oh, people that hit 2.2-2.3Ghz can get scores up to 1000 for 3DMark03

Hi, if u want to do serious java programming with eclipse and RDBMS and running application server (such as jboss).....i think u better use notebook, not umpc nor netbook.

I need to know something. The major difference between 1000h and 1000hd is the processor. Which one better? Atom or Celeron M?

Why did you want to uninstall ? You did pretty work job as far as i am concerned.

If you want to learn more, just google for some forums to check on some on going discussions on photoshop cs2 softwares , and you can ask questions there

NO one can claim to the expert of every softwares around . Even if you were to be accountant, it does not mean you know all accounting softwares in the market.

Just my 2 sen opinion.

it took up quite big space and quite complicate to use. i just need light photo editing programme for editing my sons's photo..

and furthermore, i'm not in the computer feild.. if u talk about marketing things, then i can understand easily.. if you talk about editing software.. i can't even know why do we need to do layering...


i tried another software.. pretty nice...maybe this one will suit my need more...light usage also..
only eat up 22++mb

I was told to register in ASUS website to get the international warranty ( on the safe side ) one month after purchasing.

Other countries may use the web to check your warranty. Correct me if i am wrong.
