No need 2GB Ram LAH...
Unless u monitor d Task Manager there wif Fn key + F6 n notice d Performance there show Memory usage always above 850MB then only consider 2GB Ram LAH... Usually shut those startup program wil save u lots of ram usage. Firefox Ultimate Optimizer program also wil save ur Firefox browser frm consuming much ram. About storage, unles u r Mp3 addict or movie torrent addict LAH... Why need so much hard drive storage? For games? Bros this machine is awesome but got limitation. I did run Company of Heroes wif my 901 but Damn laggy...nice graphic but hell d frame rate turn my hard on down. Some even consume alot your storage man. Is it worth? It can run most 2004 n yrs back games wif charm. D Flash Drive -SanDisk Cruzer Contour is great helper here -it is a sure booster here baby! |

Actually the RAM is for you to do multi tasking at the same time. if sell back old ram, upgrade to 2g ram.. any significant differences? actually, i dunno ram serve what purpose... It is like a Highway on the road which provides how many lanes for the cars to passby at one time. Well, you can see the difference if you upgrade it from 1GB to 2GB especially when you open 2-3 Internet Explorer together with your Messenger. QUOTE(blurprincess @ Sep 8 2008, 02:01 PM) 900 got 512ram mer? All Eee PC comes with 1GB Ram.. i think mine one is 1gb ram.. if no significant, then i stay with my 1gb lor... 10s a lot .. No worries, you try to make urself comfortable with ur ee pc first. When feel like abit laggy then only you changed to 2GB RAM It wont void the warranty also xD QUOTE(vixxiee @ Sep 8 2008, 08:29 PM) Yea, everyone want to clear the old stock now, especially 1000H 80gb |

Does the Eeepc support 8GB SD cards? I'm asking because my HP Compaq nc6230 built in SD card reader only supports up to 2GB SD card. OS: Win XP Pro.
