do u know that even cousins that get married have a real high chance of having a disabled/sick(as in heart got hole and so on) baby(my great uncle's experience)?
so what do u think about father n daughter?
as long as they r genetically close its a NONO(wish i can put the picture of the taiwan artist NONO here)..
want to learn more about genetics? go to google and google genetics / mandalian law
*
LOLS.. haha yeah..

read about the australian father who married his daughter and had two kids..

worse.. the austrian guy who built a cellar to keep his daughter in it for 24 years.. he had 7 kids with her.. how cruel.

Sorry, but that is just a really d*mb question after what everyone has explained in page 41 and also when Hun has just explained about genetic disorders right above you.

Yes, like Evan has pointed out, even with humans, marrying cousins will cause genetic problems what more with brothers, sisters, father and mother who are in a direct gene line with each other...

Father - mother - brother - sister = same/immediate gene pool A BIG NO-NO to breed them!

End of story.

For those who are stubborn enough and wish to proceed doing so, good luck... If anything bad happens to the offspring, don't come here and complain or else all of us will give you a good kick in the a**.

O..a tear in the membrane..anyway we can't prevent them from stretching. I think it will somewhat affect gliding as their membrane is the instrument. You want to bring it see doc? But you can't put antiseptic cream on them, they will lick too..

What cause it to happen?

Huhh? Tear? How did it happened?

How come there is a tear but it's not bleeding? hmm.gif

Are you sure about this?

If it's really a tear, do consult a vet as I do not want it to become worse...

It sounds like most animals do that. Even my tortoise will fart, esp during poo and very noticeable on the larger ones.

mmmm... bout the vegie, she will choose vegie to eat... only daun salad she like to eat.... sawi leh?? i mostly only will give daun salad lah, sincemy other pet eat that too. haha...
bout the sengkuang, of course got few type of food inside the cage lah. oat and small mammal pellet will be given everyday (but mostly the pellet are not being eaten), additional with baby food or yogurt, and another is fruit (cucumber, apple, sengkuang, papaya etc, since my house selling fruits. haha...) mostly 3 type of food a day will be given to them. so tak takut not enough nutrition. haha..

Added on May 21, 2008, 3:17 amby the way, what about father and daughter? hehe...

Small mammal pellet? Not all local products are safe..... those green round pellets for hamsters are not good for gliders and not even good for hamsters. Oats, it should be fed sparingly as it can cause constipation. Daun salad... lettuce lah.... is not that nutritious either. The calcium content is low, lack of vitamins as well. Fiber is so so only, even tortoise shouldn't eat lettuce. Sawi is the best.

The breeder from cari.com? Coz I heard there got weird breeders..... as in they don't follow the proper way to keep and feed junk to their gliders.

can you get a clear pic? The tear is deep? You may need a vet to help you check and see if require stitching or not. Maybe a pic would help.

haha.. good to bring up his question.. although out of topic.. but.. i hope can make it clear here too... next time, pls dun call me "spirit" or "demon" sweat.gif , when meet me outside lo... so weird... hahaha.. juz call me "WEI".. or song wei lo... it will b nice.. thumbup.gif

erm.. i use this nick bcoz i like one caracter in a game.. although he is a demon or a monster.. but, he alwiz do the right thing, help other.. alwiz put other's benefit in front of himself.. whereas, some ppl call themself god or wat ever hero.. but, they not react like it..

so.. for me... even u born as a monster..as long as u got a good "heart".. tat will b thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

so, no discrimination towards monster ya..haha.. unless they do hurt u b4..hahaha

I'm confused as to how a tear has no blood...

Yes, like Hun said, a pix would help us see clearly or perhaps just visit a vet for clarification.

Cuz to me, tear is literally "koyak" and if the petagium koyak, sure got blood one and it would be serious cuz takut from little can be bigger... Or do you mean tear as in a scratch?

It is not advisable to keep gliders in the same room with birds especially noise ones... Gliders get startled easily and if frequent it would be stressful for them.

There are quite a number of pets that you can keep in the same room with gliders, but one important rule is that those pets must be small animals and not noisy ones such as hamsters, gerbils and hedgies.

Cats, dogs, even ferrets are not advisable to be kept in the same room unless you can supervise them 24/7.
