are we feeding em morning once and also night once ?
morning = fruit and night = worms ?
den somtimes play wit em will feed em slurpp wit spone ?
is this routine correct ? if not please correct me..i am still newbie T.T

SIFU AND SIMOU HERE'S, i would like to ask how big is the portion they eat per day, currently i fed them 1 tea spoon slurp, 5 meal worms, 1/4 small red apple, but it seem the slurp he can't finsih apple i think she eat 1 bite size only, and 3 meal worms.... err ... is this normal, yesterday is the first day to bring her to my home...

by the way she is only 2 months old

personally i think stress got to do with it cos only 1st day..
they do get stressed when changing owner and surrounding..
keep a view on their diet for sometime 1st..
i always give extra food(1-2 metal bowl) n always check the feces(pang sai) when cleaning the pan each day..

Twice a day feeding is good.

Feed at times they are active most. This depends on your suggie.

You can feed them once around 11pm-12am, then another one at 6am.

Eg: Mine are active around 7pm onwards, so I will give them a little portion of fruits around 8-9pm. Then at 12am before I go to sleep, their complete meal of mix, fresh fruits and mealworms.

NO rambutan branches. They are toxic.

The only safe ones around are hibiscus branches and guava branches. But make sure they have not been sprayed with pesticides.

so to keep my fruit ...should i ready for em like at afternoon, den i put those fruit to refrige..den at night or tomorow only bring out feed em ?
is this methods wrong ?
and the slurp should keep in refrige oso rite ? they eat cold or need to make it abit normal temp only feed em ?

try hibiscus branches.. can let them eat the flower also rite sifus? =P cause got nectar..

normally my routine is like daytime i feed minor fruits.. small animal dry fruit treats.. some steam chicken if i'm eating em.. some water.. around 5 -8 meal worms..

night till early morning = slurp + different fruits + 5 meal worms + 1-3 tiny drop of vitagen in Slurp + my finger for them to bite.. and sometimes some yogurt..

about the chicken...if they cook wit kicap or some other sos or with some oil..
can feed them those ? lol...
or need to wash the chicken meat only feed them ?

chicken = cook without adding anything.. pan cook it without oil or anything.. or boil it..

see.. it's steam.. no kicap or what-so-ever.. didn't u know kenot use salty stuffs for ur pets.. even dogs.. if not their bulu will shed.. and perhaps die of cancer.. =P hehe
just steam it.. the breast part is the best.. no fat..

Please leave them in their cages for a day or two before starting to play with them.

a day or 2 mean all the time in the cage? or bring them out of the cage in to my bonding pouch? or i just leave her at home..

Goodness... I know you're a newbie, but such basic question like the fruit prep pun dunno ar??

It's up to you how to prep it as long as it is fresh and not half rotten by the time you wanna feed them. It's always best to prep and cut it right before feeding time.

The slurp needs to be kept in the freezer all the time like how you keep ice cream lar... Take it out atleast half an hour before feeding to thaw it a little before scraping some into their bowl.



Err, no hibiscus nectar... They don't really eat the flower but more like chew and play with eat. Please make sure you remove the yellow pollen stick part in the middle first before giving to you glider.









Aiyorrrrr... These boiled chicken and such pun has been explained and in the first page also has mention about the boiled chicken...

Boiled chicken is just water + chicken meat = boil. DO NOT ADD ANYTHING ELSE.

Don't give them your leftover meals such as curry or masak kicap or anything, that's meant for YOU, NOT them. Not even if you take the leftover and wash it... No, No, No...

Just water + chicken meat = boil.



Let them adjust to new environment for a day or 2 in their new cage/house.

NO, don't bring them out yet. The whole point to letting them adjust and settle down is not to disturb them much.

Little things like that should have been explained to you one to one when you get your glider. Cuz it's easier to talk one to one about the basic care then type all the lengthy info here...

No one explained anything to you when you got your glider?

I think you should come to the Petster event on the 31st May or 1st June... Lotsa other people will be there, it will be easier to learn
