can you imagine the latest HTC Diamond is selling at SGD498-598 with 2 years contract? And N95 for the same price with premium contract??
FYI the Diamond without contract is SGD1099. yawn.gif
The price is greatly depends on the contract package... you pay more for the package means you can get the phone with lower price.

if the price is around 2.5-2.8k when ppl bring it in, will u guys replace your current 1st gen with the 2nd gen 1? it's abit costly, but oh well, there's not much additional functions, and u cant really make video calls sad.gif

can't blame....they all now are on a "high"...with petrol prices at record high, seeing a smart phone for only 199usd would get alot of ppl excited as if they all taken some sort of drugs laugh.gif

My school friend too...I feel sleepy when they say

[stupid,why you buy so early...now got 3G iPhone already,700~800 only}

I also fight back and say:why you buy N73?wait for the N95 mah...

Hope my freind don't cry when see ppl selling 3g iPhone for 2500++

And also people failed to understand keywords like "subsidy", "contract" and "terms & condition". All these words doesn't matter much to them since they only like/understand visuals.

I think we should blame to Msia telcos because they failed to implement a system similar to SG.
If they do, most of the users here won't have such big misconception about it.

-no facing camera
-only 2MP camera
-no flash (LED atleast)
-the price $199 is subsidized (the price will skyrocket for unlock version)
-no copy paste
-no MMS
-suitable for Enterprise user

Plus, if u want the higher megapixels camera, this iphone 3g is not suitable for you.

simple. other phone:

- no ipod like interface
- no safari, content rich internet, full page browsing
- no multitouch
- no zoom and pinch, rotate etc
- no huge screen + scrolling as smooth as in iphone
- no cover flow
- no monkey ball
- no google maps
- no bubble talk alike sms
- i can go on. but i'm lazy.
