Everytime I connect my iPhone to my computer, it'll start charging. When I launch iTunes, my iTunes will hang and my phone will disconnect and stop charging. Anyone having the same problem?

nope, by far, i dont have the problem. even, its never hang(iphone/ itunes)

Have to reinstall iTunes again, sigh.

hey, sorry for asking again (well if anyone did asked b4 this question) how to use doc? i dont understand what is/var/root/file. something like that. could anyone possibly help me with this? yikes.. =| and how to download movies into the iphone?

nope,but my problem is when i close my itunes and wanted to on it again...then it will hang have to end task.

but after reinstall it,all thing OK,

i dont know bout doc, but if u wanna d/load movie from internet via safari, u must have the safari download plugin. u can download any file u wish.

hahaa.. now my prob settle, how? i just re-sync all the videos

i think the problem appear because u use the manual method transfer movie file via iphone suite

it's the directory structure of file in your iPhone. in short, it's the location. so if u connect your iPhone via SSH or iPhoneBrowser, then that's the directory u need to go.
and yup, i mean that u need special software to connect your iPhone in order to look at its directory structure, before u can perform any file operation.
do you mean download or transfer from your computer?
1. if downloading the video from youtube to your iPhone, u can do that via mxtube
2. if transfer from computer, just use iTunes. just make sure that the video format is compatible, either H264 or MPEG4 format. most likely the extension will be mp4 or m4v. if the format is incompatible then convert the video first. quote from Apple website,

guys, my friends told me that those iphone seller in kuching told them that they have a software that allows transfer all types of files via bluetooth, is it true? i remember that iphone bluetooth hardware itself doesn't support file transfer rite? or its just they are bullshitting?

i think so, but its aint wrong to try if u got the software

I tried restarting the Iphone and after it boots up, my Iphone detected the network less than 5 seconds. BTW I'm using Digi.

sure arr? i hope its really true. been useless the BT if it cant be use to upload/ download file

phone sellers will tell anything that u wanna hear. If iphone does not support bluetooth OBEX function, then how r they suppose to send the file? Bluetooth/any file transfer protocol need to work in both way. Maybe they got mixed up with wifi/ssh transfer for bluetooth. I've been following some developers progress to port the bluetooth stack from OS X but they are still far from getting it.

2 mins just to get the signal? Somethings wrong somewhere. Mine would takeless then 5 sec to get the signal. Looks like yours taking a long time trying to search for the signal. FYI same time when use digi or maxis. Maybe u should try bootneuter and reflash the baseband, maybe that might help. But a word of caution, seek for guidance on how to use bootneuter if u don't know. Not to scare u but better safe than sorry right.

yeah, i was really shock when my friend told me that they actually got the software that allow file transfer, which just like u said, BT OBEX in our iphone can't support that.
