My friend took his iPhone(1.1.4 JB) to compares with mine(1.1.4 JB), whether using Wifi and Mxtube to download the same movie or off the Wifi, his iPhone seems very warm compares to mine. We tried putting it on the table and leave it there for 10 minutes(without the Wifi "On"), his iPhone seems to be warm while mine's cool and we're in an air-con room. Anyone encounter this before?

My phone does get warm at times, not all times. It's normal for battery consumption. At least few months, drain your battery till it's finish and then recharge. By this you can prolong your battery life even longer for years.

Other than resetting the battery counter, which I think isn't even necessary for lit-ion batteries, I don't really see the point.. |

QUOTE(D-Zire @ Jul 12 2008, 07:40 PM) mmm...i think that when u r surfing on wifi, both edge and wifi radio r turned on, so the batter drains faster. dunno la just my thought. This post has been edited by LaskarCinta: Jul 12 2008, 08:09 PM |

It's clear that you don't know how rechargeable battery works, blackchides.
http://www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html QUOTE Use iPhone Regularly For proper maintenance of a lithium-based battery, it’s important to keep the electrons in it moving occasionally. Be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down). |
