see? If you really like the games in the 360 u should be prepared to buy backups of your 360 in case one of them lucks out. This way when u send for warranty u can still use the other one. Then if that one also kaput then u have your third backup. Its very unlikely the third backup gets spoiled as well.

well they got money to purchased so many xbox360`s...i dont think to backup incase 3rod....may be all of his 360s diff region...PAL , NTSC and NTSC J...so where ever he or she go , there should be no probs to purchased any game.....

Buying backups XBOX 360 should be ok for a working adult/gamer in case their 1st unit fail. Microsoft would also be laughing behind the back door as loyal XBOX 360 fans will have no choice but to fork out more on another console with the exception of gamers being in countries supported by their 3 years warranty.

Let's imagine you were 10 years younger, still a student (Not applicable to rich kids) . Your dad will only buy you 1 console and you've choosen the 360. Months later, the unit got hit by 3RROD. How would you feel? In terms of games, I have to agree XBOX 360 does have an impressive lineups. It's just that the design and reliability of the console is not up to the standard failure rates are high). Microsoft did a rush job on releasing the console and consumers that support it has to suffers

Note: 360 fanboys will sure flame me for this but this is the fact they know as well. It's just that they can't accept the fact.

How do we feel, angry? sad? complain? Anyway those feeling cant help the xbox360 revive,so just send it for claim is the only way. But for the gamer who only want to play a game, entertainment and no certain game wanted, if i am a game shop seller, i will suggest the customer get the PS3 or WII than xbox360. If they still want to get the xbox360, we only can tell them about the RROD, so they will take the risk by themselves.
Anyway buying another backups xbox360 is only for the hardcore gamer or the rich guys.

Note: I think many lowyat xbox360 users know that their console machine will hit by 3rod at uncertain times, but they got what they want with their console, so no one will flame on u.

the fact is i forked out cold hard cash for this thing. its not like something you can jut go out and get everyday you know. so thats why its a big deal. it took me 2 months to have enough cash for the xbox after i got the ps. so you see, why my anger is not baseless lol. plus, games are not cheap either. its not like you can rent them here.

and that's why im saying as till now the xbox is the better console to own. by the way, lost odyssey is awesome but the battles! omg!! word of warning to potential buyers of this game, its gonna be a really long ride people. but its worth it.

personal review :
voice acting (very good, although some characters are those usual stereotypes (hint: bad guys))

graphics, very awesome but choppy at times (mistwalker needs to revamp their programming and game design, seriously man.)

storyline, wow. if you've been complaining that games nowadays lack storyline and depth then this game should shut you up good. it takes you a good 2 and a half hours to reach the next battle scene from the first one. haha! but the attention to detail is amazing.

battles, umm this one im not so fond of. i mean come on, its 2008 and on the next gen consoles and still i have to deal with random battles and turn based system? the battle system here is interesting and good but its way past time to change tho.

loading times, yes..my favorite part. i can bet that after or when rather i finish this game, i may well have changed into a better person. better in terms of patience. cuz the loading times are CRAZY!! i haven't seen this much loading screens since ever. but the story forces me to play on!! grrrr!! damn you hironobu sakaguchi!!

but all in all, im quite pleased with this game. still on the first disc on the 6th hour of play and get this the main guy is only at lvl 18 lol! and only recently got a new character in. after more than five hours into it that is T_T alright i hope this game will last me long enough at least till mgs comes out XD

we pay thousands for consoles here,but yet malaysians just get alittle bit angry..
the americans and europeans,on the other hand...god forbid they should ever pay anything more than 300 for a console!

something in wonder, I still sees the ppl around here complaining abt 3RROD but isn't that Falcon system virtually eliminated the problem?

I've run my XB360 for 3 full months now and so far yet to get any problem.....

In fact some shops warned me abt potential problem on PS3 BD raeder problem and recommend me XB as initially i do wanna buy PS3.

I've brought one XB due to response given to console repairer. so why bragging about 3RROD if the problem is history?
