Hmmm for Nintendo Wii I won't compare it because it is a different type of console and of course gamers will say things like graphics,casual games and this console is a fair friendly console so it doesn't stick to it.

Ok the videos that this guy posted some things are right and not right.
Why?
I mean look....he didn't even mention the games right.
Xbox360 has FAR more games compared to ps3.
We are to enjoy and play more games as we can to satisfy ourselves.
Also,you can burn hdvd games for modded,so this is the part where consumers are possesed at.

So in terms of exclusive games releases I will go for Xbox360.

As I said something aren't right.
The xbox360 graphics a.k.a xenon.
The guys posted in the video he didn't know what's the capacity of xenos and he gives 1 score each.LOL?
I tell you guys.Xenon has a higher capacity compared to PS3'S graphics.
Why?
This battle will be very similar to last generation.

PS2 CPU - 6.0 GFLOPS
Xbox CPU - 2.932 GFLOPS

PS3 Cell - 204.8 GFLOPS
Xbox CPU - 115.2 GFLOPS

PS3
Not exact, but similar. You even program them the same way - Cell being a major pain to program and very flexible, XCPU being a piece of cake but less flexible. The difference lies in the video cards. PS3 and X360 will have similar video cards - Xbox's video philosophy is implemented on the PS3 (large memory, little cache, seperate pixel/vertex shaders). So RSX can provide a lot of power - rendering a game like GoW at 1080p. When combined with Cell, lets just say big things will happen. It could be a while before anyone starts using Cell for graphics though.

But even then widespread use is unlikely (like Emotion Engine utilization for PS2). So Cell is a good word to describe the chip, since developers feel as if they are in a 'cell' when first trying to program it, constrained by local memory management, no brand prediction on the SPEs, assembler programming, SPE kernel management for seven processors, etc. Loop unrolling is practially mandatory (128 vector registers for each SPE) as well as compiler modicactions. Of course things won't as bad as the Emotion Engine, where developers had no cache, tools, documentation, examples, tutorials, or how-to guides on how to use EE, making them feel very angry EMOTIONS while trying to develop for it.

Xbox360
Xenon has the juice to provide developers full-optimization of its CPU with quick turnaround time. Microsoft being the benevolent software company that they are, have given Xenon the best development environment yet seen on a console (as said by John Carmack). The dot-product instruction makes running 3D code easier then before, along with copious cache and branch prediction.

But Microsoft forgot about programming ease when they decided to include TWO threads per each of the three cores of the CPU. Parallezing your code among three processors caused lots of Emotion on PS2, and will undoubtedly cause similar Emotions on X360. At least X360 has plenty of cache and good tools.

Ok now lets move on to physical dimensions and design cool2.gif
The guys posted in this video did not mention the physicial dimension as is not so important to him I guess.
He didn't even post completely the editions/designs/models that the xbox360 released same goes to Ps3.
So is quite unfair at that case.
But in this case things are yet to be resulted correctly and true.

The Xbоx360 weights 7.7 pounds (3.5 kg) and is:

309 mm wide x 83 mm high x 258 mm deep

12.15 in wide x 3.27 in high x 10.15 in deep

The PS3 weights 11 pounds(5kg)

sorry gamers,I don't have the measurements for PS3 yet.
but 11 pounds is quite heavy though.

So PS3 lacks in physical dimensions.As you can see.

PS3 are available in piano black(original colour),ceramic white and satin silver not to mention the models of 40gb and 80gb
(20gb and 60gb stop production f.y.i)
Most gamers likes piano black in colour not to mention ceramic white and satin silver.
But in editions and designs are only ONE with DIFFERENT colours RESPECTIVELY.

Xbox360 has a halo3 edition(spartan green and gold finsih),elite edition(black) and the premium(original colour) not to mention 20gb and 120gb models.
But in editions and designs are only THREE with ONE colour RESPECTIVELY.
In future there maybe more editions and designs.

MS can release halo3 edition in xbox360 why not Gears of Wars and Assasin Creed?

In physical dimensions are not a problem for PS3 although Xbox360 is lighter than ps3.
But in designs and editions is important for us gamers.
It gives us choices of varieties of designs and editions for us to choose.

So which one is better?
Honestly I am getting use to PS buttons and it is comfortable.
Before xbox released.I had a ps2 long time ago.So I was and still a playstation owner.It does not need as many buttons to controll compared to the xbox360.
In looks,Xbox360 has the ugliest childish controller. Look at the buttons it comes with colourful colours.Man that sucks.But it looks better in halo3 edition.From the back view it looks awful with the battery pack on it.
Dualshock 3 in all colours looks very neat and tidy looking.
From the back view it looks good too.
Also,Dualshock 3 is lighter than the xbox360 controller
I won't compare how many controllers that you can use in 1 console because I do no need that many so were you.
Also xbox360 controller with 30foot range I would say is further than enough.You don't need a 70foot range unless you're playing on a screen projector.
The guy posted in the video says xbox360 does not have play and charge kit and no vibrations.Lol?
Both xbox360 and ps3 has a play and charge kit and have an adjustable vibration system.
So overall I would say PS3 Dualshock 3 is the best.

Xbox360's power brick is obvious that it is heavy and big.
PS3's power cable is lighter and won't cause any overheat problems.

For now PS3 owners will say PS3 is better and 360 owners will say 360 is better and those who got both will say both are good. But looking at that video, and various other videos, and reading recent articles on the internet I think PS3 will be the favourite console in the end.

Hmm at 1st the xbox360 rules...juz bcos it got more titles than the ps3.
Sony suffered major losses due to the R&D of Cell cpu and sell under cost of each ps3.Sony had agree to Sold their Cell cpu architecture to Toshiba.

But experts predicted ps3 will win over this year around due to many "big" titles coming up soon to ps3.
Now sony also annouced to use smaller die shrink for their ps3 Cell CPU.In other words it means PS3 slim will be possible this year!
I just hope it will down size and down price at the same time.

is just intercooler that gamers solution setted up for me =). Don't have to bother the intercooler brand is almost the same. Is just watt and multiple fan difference.
I use table fan as an external.
My top casing is opened.

Seriously, the whole comparison is seriously outdated. PS3 versions of multiplatform games were bad because the tools wasnt matured yet. Now, we're already in the 2nd gen of PS3 games and there are already PS3 games that looks better than 360's current best graphics.

To us Asians, the factors of buying a console comes down to our wallet. Do you want to play pirated games or not? If not, then I think PS3 is a more viable and reasonable system to invest in. You get free online multiplayer, the most powerful gaming console which also doubles as a Blu-ray player, wireless controller with built-in battery and it's fairly affordable now. Last I checked 40GB PS3 goes for RM1300 nowadays.

But it's always true when they say you're losing out a lot if you stick to just one console.

ok le me get this straight...the main difference between ps3 and 360 in malaysia..is only original Bluray disc vs ehem DVD....if u buy ps3 u get a lot of great games even in the present and the future..same for 360...and Wii....but with 360 and Wii in hand you can get a lot of game for only rm1* per game...what a miracles way of life!!...so let make decision shall we..i'm not making this jokes story or whatever....but this is a fact that a man should face...forget to mention something very important...if you get a 360...please spend some money...in case for a future references (3ROD)...."ok adios kid"...( i hate that lines of words!!)

Yeah, we're just lucky in that respect. Having pirated games really eases the pain of having multiple consoles.

In the end, if anybody wants to get only 1 gaming console, they just need to consider these few things:

1. If you wanna buy cheap pirated games, Xbox 360 and Wii is your best bet. However, online functionality might be disabled/banned and risk of hardware malfunctions are high(this applies to Xbox 360 only).

2. If you wanna buy original games only, then PS3 it is. No online fees, no extra accessories needed other than better AV cables and no region lock in PS3 games.

After all is said and done, the final determining factor is your taste in games. Exclusive titles does drive sales.

hmm,metal gear solid 4 ,Gt5 ,initial d extreme stage(my favourite) and some awesome and famous game like kingdom heart 3,final fantasy is only coming out on ps3..so ps3 is the best rclxms.gif
