I vote for PS3
I'm more attracted with the games(ff yeah!) as i'm satisfy with PS2 games i've played, so i think ps3 will continue my satisfaction.
I don't play first person shooter games with in console, coz i think it's hard to use a joystick to play them. I would buy Xbox360 if i can play FPS games as natural as using a mouse in PC.

So iwant to ask based on experience, anyone, do u find it's easy to play FPS games in consoles, using a joystick? Or does it have other devices like a mouse that i don't know?

i was just like you last time, thinking how can i ever play a FPS on consoles when i'm so used to the mouse and keyboard. then i tried gears of war and i was really surprised how far fps on the consoles have come.

i guess u have to keep an open mind when you play a fps on the console, especially if you're so used to the keyboard and mouse. it's definitely very playable and a lot of fun. i still enjoy playing fps on the pc, but right now a lot of the good fps games are coming out for the consoles first though.

the older fps games like for the ps2 were quite rubbish, but the current ones for the 360 and ps3 are really good. though i must say, i prefer the ones for the 360. i like the controller because it feels solid and i have big hands. and of course, the 360 has the better multiplayer option which is so easy to use and to find ppl to play with.

Added on May 14, 2008, 12:00 pmcan't you create a party of 6 and host the game? once u host the game, u can invite other frens to join the game. thats how the 360 cod4 kakis play together.

Gears of war is more like 3rd person.. this game is the best...

it is 3rd person shooter...also the best shooter on the x360, better than Halo 3.

i'll vouch to that. aside from forza2, that was the only 360 game that made my spandex wet, a bit..well, wet...meoww!

I want to speak out my Opinion here.

Get XBOX ------ and then 3ROD ------- DIE DIE DIE --------Dunno until when got 3ROD ---scare newbies la.

Get PS3 ------- Enjoy The games for now ------ eventually the ps3 community will get bigger -------eventually more games will be out for ps3.
and at last PS3 will outshine XBOX360 as what PS2 did to XBOX what.

I see that the old Xbox like dead already no new titles but PS2 still has titles coming out now and then.
Opps forgot about the 1 billion Microsoft spent on 360's 3ROD prob ---- No wonder they just stopped the old XBOX's titles.


PS3 is the way to go because DVD is for movies ok lah, but not for next-gen games (is what i think)


I hope you don't take it personally Xbox Fans---- but it's the truth and basically my opinion..... so don't get confused here. I'm not running for president ok.

But seriously la, i should and would get the Xbox360 then la, tp 3ROD tu menakutkan la beb. Kalau aku duduk AMERICA tu, xde hal kot. Sbb klu sblm nak beli sesuatu tu aku survey kat forum selalu, tp yang local forum pun macam ada yang confirmkan yg XBOX360 kat M'sia nie tak cure lg je. Apa yg aku nampak lah. Sbb ye 1st Person, Xbox punya controller is the way to go.

Actually you can claim warranty for that , provided you have a singapore set and didnt flash anything there.

Customer always have the right to choice their like. Each console got their good n bad, depend n refer the exclusive game urself and choice the right one.

I like u bro before.. now i cant play FPS using....PC .... donno why feel weird.... ... now playing COD4 and next HAZE.... all FPS game... very enjoy playing COD4 using controller....

wow u guys. ps3 really sucks man. haven't you guys been reading? it came out a year late, there are less games on that platform since most has either shifted to xbox or some even cross platforming. its easier and cheaper to build games for xbox and since xbox has been out for a while most games on the ps3 are ports from the xbox. and hence the result are much more inferior quality. price wise, ps3 is too damn expensive even for the darn 20gig phased out model. graphics wise, the xbox is the clear winner and its been proven that the xbox handles hd, anti-aliased, with complex shaders game content way way better than the ps3.and as for the 3rod crap, just get an intercooler man. solves the problem. and its cheap too.

gamewise, the xbox is the clear winner, with a whole lot of games as compared to the ps3 and the quality is much much better as i explained above. im not a fanboy since i own a ps3 and have been a ps supporter as well and i've made the comparison myself. but the ps3 is a bit of a disappointment. the only things that are gonna keep me playing that machine is if the next god of war or shadow of the colossus comes out. gonna sell this thing off soon. pfft, what a waste

to final fantasy and mgs fanboys, seriously guys. test the xbox and you'll see the difference. even final fantasy cant save the ps3 this time. besides the xbox has Lost Odyssey and its friggin AWESOME!! FF7 lovers are gonna love this cuz im friggin loving it

Aiya, sorry, but i hear a distinct hint of fanboyism. Hahahaha. Well, if you ask me, the solution is simple. It goes two ways:

If you already have a 360, then of course the ps3 seems like a waste, cuz most of the games ps3 got, 360 also got. So why buy new console to get same games u can get for your old console?

But if your JUST about to buy a console, a PS3 would be better ah. Its more future proof. Spec wise, its higher and its got more value (more HDD, Blu Ray, Wifi). And if your gonna complain that the 360 games look better, its because the 360 came out earlier! So the developers are more skilled at making 360 games. Give it time, by the time the developers get the hang of developing for the ps3, im sure the ps3 will outshine the 360. Its like comparing the smarts of an older brother and a younger brother. Well duh the older brother can do whatever the younger brother can do better, but its an uneven playing field. Plus, the 360 has reached its peak. Buying one now would be a waste as its already halfway into its life cycle.

I won't say that 360 games are ALL better then the ps3, but each console has its awesome games! Now, I haven't played any FPS game as fluid as Halo 3 on the PS3, but then again, no other racing game can match Gran Turismo 5.

And before you call me a PS3 fanboy, i have both consoles too!

agree with u bro... same as me... got both console but i play PS3 lots more then my 360... ... ( must have GOLD LIVE to play online..) and if u ask me.. 360 service center suk la ( singapore)... lazy people... wanna cancel LIVE ... pun cam **tut**......
