They have only made some minor modification to the Swift early this year and their factory is newly setup.

I believe the model will go on for another several years.

this sucks. i feel like my swift consume oil much faster than before. on 7k mileage now. mostly drive at highway. is sumthing wrong with the oil??? Shell. damn it!

My car's fuel consumption is pretty bad, the display read 8.8 km/l no matter how light I press the pedal. More like RM 50 for about 200-250 km. Mileage is about 5.5k and city driving mostly and up and down hill. What's yours?

how come take lots of petrol? 12km/L is alot for mix city/hwy way driving? (if just cruise at 80-90kmh constantly can do up to 18-20km/L)

and my batch 08 , up to 50k free 5 times service.. so where got maintainence costs?

Most of the time did you carry any passenger? If u carry passenger and up down hill most of the time i think 8.8km/l should be ok kua??


Btw, have anyone try setting the fuel consumption meter? there is 3 different setting. 1 is km/l , another is liter per 100km and 1 more i forgot. I dont know how to change it but sometimes i tried reseting the meter , the option came out. but i press press press nothing happen.

but my FC still high...normally driving alone, fr KJ to PJ, or move around pj & damansara area..no up n down hill...even got passanger, onli my gf with 42kg sit beside me...RM50 give me 250km

that's low. My SSS with RM50 can give me at least 400km...better go check with SC.

maybe he's refering to the RM50 get 400km post rather than the RM50 get 250km post..

have you done your first service limyusiong? i did mine last year and the workshop gave me a very thick lubricant which screw up my fuel efficiency.

wow..8.8km/L is quite bad.. I can get 12+km/L without trying..

I think something is wrong.. maybe rear brake pads stuck or something.. cause much friction to move the car? dunno..

8km/l reminds me of my previous A33 cefiro 2L..
