2 yrs old CBU want to sell at above RM60k? U must be kidding. doh.gif If what you said they are selling at 68k, then I would choose a NEW one only at 70k lor. Got 3 years warranty somemore... whistling.gif

When the CKD came out, their CBU has no value... kesian!

Neway, yes thre is already a thread discussing about this car.

but CBU unit quality is better than CKD , this is a fact that cant be ignored / Hence why the price is 68k at 2nd hand unit

actually, been seeing threads with suzuki swift around here.. may be do a search?

suzuki m'sia claims that the ckd model is as good as the cbu model, but we've all heard that before... well finding a good used unit may be difficult cause it's still very new in the market and many ppl will not part with it... unless they willing to lose $$$ to finance...

My house got a 2008 Suzuki Swift CKD, from what i can see,the quality is almost as good as the CBU unit, IMHO much better than Honda City(I am drivin this, Year2004 Vtec)/Toyota Vios). Very nice car to drive, just feel a bit underpowered

tested the cbu auto swift sometimes ago.
imo, the car isn't underpower with 2 person on board.
good handling for such a small car.
plus it is very easy to manouvre in tight traffic too!

just like the naza bestari, earlier version of the ckd are same as the cbu; this is cuz' most of the parts are from identical source while the later batch tend to have more localize' parts to minimize the cost.
btw, the QC is always there. thumbup.gif

errr.... maybe this car can run on hayabusa sourced engine hmm.gif tongue.gif

FC is quite good, comparable to Altis 1.8G. RM50 can go about 350km-400km, bear in mind that this is on a new car with less than 1k mileage, it might improve after the first service(10k).... FC wise do not worry la it's better than most of the car on the road, handling wise is really superb compared with my H.City sweat.gif

OTR is around 72k, interest rate around 2.4%(Might get lower if your credit from bank is good) rclxms.gif , overall nice car to drive, but not really suitable for family of 4 due to not so comfortable back seats sweat.gif + small boot

CKD = assembly in Malaysia by local or probably Indonesia or Bangladesh labour blink.gif
CBU = 100% made in Japan mostly assembly by robot brows.gif
