suzuki swift owner reporting in...well jus get my blacky CKD on 28/2, driving for bout 2 months d...very happy with it...good handling le...

bout FC, i can said is much more heavy comparing same class 1.5 like vios and city....1st thousand km, is take me bout 18-19cent/km le..(town driving)...nw mine is bout 8k++ d, city+highway, cost me around 16cent/km...

swift is 4 auto, D->3->2-L....so if u drive by D, sure is underpower, coz the rpm is keep btw 2k-3k rpm.....so when driving around town area, my advice is push to 3, u wont feel it was underpower, then when on highway, push it back to D after 110-120km/h, it will save a lot of FC.

personally, i prefer swift vs city (vtec)....when i drove my sis city, i feel hatchback is much more stable and good cornering....honestly speak, 72k is worth for it...

any swift sport owners here? i would like to know what is the RPM when the speed is at 110km/h. how is the NVH when driving at the speed (and above), especially the engine noise.
*
i m here... RPM on 110km/h is quit low, i think around 3000, or even lower than tat when u on D mode....engine noise is quit quiet even on tat speed...

what's 30k when you buy 70K plus, its just better plus its cbu, 2 bad u bought a normal 1, plus what's 30k if you take 7 yrs loan, not much but a lot more drving joy...CBU cars are definitely better and a lot of ppl will probably agree...
*
clarification and justification plz....dude, no everyone so "RICH" like u, CKD and CBU is talking bout diff of 20k++...but mayb u breakdown to monthly installment is onli diff bout 40 dollars....anyway, i rather to use tat 20K++ for other things....just my 2 cent...

at least, CKD stil meet my personal requirement. rclxms.gif

truth b told ... if i had an extra 30k .. sure id buy the sports .... but no i dont .. and many as well do not ..

its clear case of .. who can afford to buy a swift sport and who can afford to buy the normal one..

its not whether we want to buy the normal one or swift ... its what we can afford .........

handsdown everyone will buy the sports ..... provided they can spend that extra 30k.

up to u to think paying extra 30k is alot or little ... its alot to me smile.gif

Added on July 2, 2008, 12:21 am
anyway ... diff is not 40 dollars a month ... i calculated before ... more like extra 500 a month ...

i earn a decent pay ... and 500 a month i can spend on my monthly petrol/toll
*
opps, my fault here...should be notonli diff bout rm40 per month.

COREK,

CKD, RM72000, 10% downpayment,for 7 yrs, installment is RM900/month

CBU, RM92000, 10% downpayment, for 7 yrs, installment is RM1150/month.

we assume interest rate is 2.39..so diff is RM250 per month!!!!wow, tat is alot....who said RM20kk is ntg???!!!

well...the tank is 43 litres, so that would make it RM116.1.

About the 450km quoted, as for me, I got 468km and still got about 7 litres in the tank.
And no, i dont drive below 90km/h. Everyday Ill go around 130km/h.

Acceleration wise, i would say it is not superb, but its not that bad. Plus, the pickup gets better after your first service. THats what i noticed with my unit la. hehe. dunno about others. icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

BTW, as i mentioned earlier, first service is at 1000km for ckd units. Not 10k km.
*
how come my RM60 onli cn onli bring me to 190km??? cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif wat happen there???i oso never drive below 90km/h...always around 100-100km...

mine calculation is all city driving.

CKD swift is all auto, no manual.

limyusiong - r u driving on D or 3? I think if all city driving will consume more. But nonetheless, you might want to get it checked at your next service
*
i tried both D and 3 as well...but 2 trips oso give me same result...i duno wat happen...31 cent per km is really ridiculous man...

my next service is 20000km, now onli 128xx....long way to go wo...sould i pop in to their SC to get them check???
