My friend has been asking me to start Unit Trust as well so im looking at the benefits, so let say for short term let say 3 years if i dump 100k on Unit Trust not bad also aite?
*
Yes can. But for 3 years of investment you should well diversify your investment.

If u dunno how can hire a consultant to invest for you. Also u can invest using your epf acc 1.

I have a few recommended fund that's gud for short term investment within 3 years.

The potential return is depend to which classes of fund u invest more in.

Can ask me if u want to know more details.

An experienced consultant should be able to estimate more or less the amount of takaful charges depending your tenure. Assuming your financing tenure is 30 years, total of RM 8.6K should be around 8600 / 30 / 12 = RM 23.89 monthly.

the takaful of my previous asb loan with them is just $5k for $195k loan

UT got hidden charges.

asb dividends already deducted the service charges
*
The charges are not hidden. Its written in the fund fact sheet and also in the prospectus. You also can check the service charge at the fund house website.

The takaful increase is because of your age. The higher your age the expensive the takaful value

For takaful 1 year different age could give big significant. It means you are more risk than your previous age. Plus ur current loan is 200k and your previous is 195k which have a different of 5k.

Those who smoke will get much higher takaful value than non smoker.

Therefore my advise is to cancel your loan approval right now before disbursement and reapply at the bank which takaful is not compulsory. Private message me for more details about asb loan for cimb and ambank.

But if ur loan already disbursed there is nothing u can do. It means your loan money already gave to PNB and the bank only hold your certificate.

Its better to call your consultant and tell the truth that u want to cancel because dun want to apply with takaful at first.

Just check

Bsn asb loan is conventional, no lock in period + conventional insurance is compulsory.

Best rate but if with insurance the ROI will be less

I want to ask all sifus when is the best time to terminate/apply asb loan?

Should I just wait next year when government announce year dividend? Or just straight away go with it?

I have 30k loan right now with maybank @ 5%, planning to go higher and choose other banks with better rates.
