Just to inform, the WM6.1 Pro for i780 is available at FMG Summit. A few MyPDACafe forumers have upgraded successfully. Good job from Samsung Mobile team for delivering the WM6.1 Pro as promised.

i've change the setting as what you mentioned, i still can't go into msn msger!!

But i heard from some forumers that i780PDXHI1 ROM which is the WM 6.1 doesn't have the threaded SMS and requires 3rd party software to read chinese character... hmm... not sure if this is true or not...

as far as i know.. from what i've been using wm6.1 having threaded sms.. (but this is unofficial ROM)..

help. i've installed an application in my i780 and remove it because of screen incompatibility. The result was I get a pop-up error message saying that the 'Program' is not found whenever I boot up my pda. I tried to soft reset but the problem persists.



I'm sure I already uninstall the program. Is there any way I can view the running startup program? I think by removing the program from startup can eliminate this problem. WM experts, pleaaaase help.

Added on November 1, 2008, 11:49 pmok I solved the problems. thanks to me. I've downloaded startup manager and remove the dead link to the program that I already remove. voila. the error doesn't appear anymore.

but in the process of solving the problems, i happened to remove 2 services which are KBPP and certificates services. My question is, how do I put the services back on?

hmmm, u really messed around in there. i suggest u hard reset, and solve all your woes in one go. not sure certificates services for other devices can be used here

is the sgh i780 have hot swap features of its micro sd card?
it seems that whenever i eject the micro sd, and insert it again...my i780 turns to be very lag and not responsive. I have to soft reset it.
The same goes to whenever I plug in my i780 as a removable disk to laptop using usb. after ejecting the usb, my pda will freeze.
anyone having the same problem with mine? how to solve this issues.

the phone is great, only those two matters annoyed me really much. sigh...

is ur phone 2nd hand? seems alot of problems in it. my advice is to go to Samsung Service Centre and get it upgrade to latest ROM. Backup everything before proceed.

Does anyone know how could I make the incoming call and incoming message volume more louder coz the volume for this device not too loud for me, eventhough the volume settings already high....

i suggest making your tones in wav format, if mp3, u can convert with nero wave editor which comes with nero burner.

then, in your PC, go to start > programs > accessories > entertainment > sound recorder, load this wav file, and increase the volume there (it increases by an additional 25% every time u do so

for that program missing during startup - search, download, and use pocket machanic.
for sound issue, try using wow srs and see if that helps.

it's strange that i couldn't tweak the registry of this official ROM i780PDXHI1 with Resco Registry... each time i tweak it and reset the PDA, the registry value automatically changed back to the initial value... hmm...

This may sound embarrassing but I need your help. I accidentally deleted File Explorer in my i780. Although I still have Resco Explorer, I still want to retain the original file explorer. Is there any way or site that I can download the original software?

Or can one of you send me the program file for me to put back in my phone...?
