I have also reduced the votes on Yes by 10 as that particular person probably used his newly created accounts to vote Yes. I've checked on many of the new accounts he created and the accounts have not posted anything so I suspect he used it to vote.

I will also tell you that Ana-CON-Da is a very stern man.He calls up his Maxis CEOs, COOs and CFOs sometimes at 3am in the morning and expect them to give him firm replies.If they fail, bye bye they will be given fry sotong jobs the next day.You notice how many times ASTRO has changed CEO , management don't you?

I knew about this a long time ago when they started reporting me which resulted me getting suspended for a week. It's a freaking messed up politics and management at Maxis.It's expected of them.

im a maxis broadband user in UM, which a lots of student using this to get connected..because of the dumb wireless service provided... soo malu one..thats why i tried maxis broadband..for almost 1 year now... the thing is.. the connection is become very2 slow..i tried to call the maxis hotline.. they said that many subcribers in my area..so the speed gone down like S*iT...
before this, i can download my beloved torrent from 1 to 6 am... in my private torrent site..at least 100KB/s ..but now...on 20KB/s...like hell...
and download something like driver... only 800byte per second...
how to tumbangkan this maxis?? i ahve around 7 to 6 months left to terminate..
if i want to terminat it earlier...whut must i doo?
i must pay anything??

I think the 16 yes votes is not accurate, there were certainly more than 10 phoney accounts.

Before I reduced the number of votes on Yes it was almost 30 votes there.

Glad to see my name not in the phantom list. Paiseh for having 0 post in LY.net. My reason to join as member is solely to show my grievances on recent Maxis services.

I've started this Maxis BB since Jan07. To be honest, their did provide a good services for past one year. However the nightmare started right after they start the dual-week maintainance viz. to improve the quality of the broadband. But the truth is they started to throttle our speed and narrowing the bandwidth. No point to go in too details since previous few posts had already stated it clear and precisely with what I've experienced.

FYI, xunlei is being blocked even the default port is 80. Even during 1am - 6am, my dl speed is fluctuating from 2.6kB to 8kB. Just wondering how to hit the 20GB limit with these kind of dl speed.

Just my 2 cents, stopping the service will be the last choice since Screamyx also another "great" ISP.

normally con companies gives u some sweet in the start, to prove that they can actually provide very good service, then promote their product, and u acts as their 'free' promoter....
after they got enuf customer, then they started to play tricks...

You're right. They're playing tricks to save budget since they have endless promotion that grab more and more victims. It's time for a wake up call like our political tsunami.

Fair policy is their best trick to cover their *ss since they can't cope up with the increasing number of BB user with the limited bandwidth.

Maxis broadband Quality of Service is sucked!

I tried to terminate my contract with Maxis but their officer said i must pay 18 months - mth used subscription fees in order to terminate.

I think it's very unfair since their can't give us broadband like QOS. Hope u guys can sort the termination issue out so that i can terminate it ASAP.

Well this matter will have to be brought to the admins but I doubt it will get any approval because it isn't something serious at the moment across the forum. However, I will keep an eye on these voters.

Guys, i checked out some other forums and apparently some other Maxis Wireless BB users also have problems playing online games.
One of them even said that he contacted Maxis and they hinted that they blocked the gaming ports.
FRIGGIN PISSED!

Actually in such cases, if the MCMC wants to do something they have every right to do so considering Maxis is blocking so many ports at the moment which makes this Internet service pretty useless.

I have seen BBXiong's maxshit results IRL and they are significantly slower than my 1Mbps Screamyx. I'd daresay Streamyx is the lesser of the two evils.
