best way to get the starter pack is thru 7-Eleven.

also, they just launched a very low low prepaid rate at 12sen/min (flat to all networks) when u make any calls within umobile 3g network.

sorry if this question has been asked many times before, I was just wondering what is the restricted speed for U-mobile broadband after I exceed the 5gb limit

edit*
oh i found the answer few pages back.. so 0.38mbps is the maximum capped speed? is that capped speed stable?

At that speed, it is still good enough for decent web browsing experience. Downloads can be quite slow though if you are downloading large files but shouldn't be a problem if you leave your computer on for downloads most of the time. smile.gif

if digi's 700kbps is stable, then umobile's capped speed at 384kbps is even stable cuz of low-bandwidth (less error-prone due to high-speed)

For U-Mobile, the upload speed should be around 60-100kbps on average.
