QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 30 2010, 07:05 PM) maybe not the capping, just coincident that your area is slow and getting the speed similar to throttled speed ?? I'm using umobile in 2 different places, which is in previous month got almost similar speed,i.e. my house and my workplace. coincidence? no way QUOTE tinking wanna change my modem..do modem got effect on the or coverage? i dont think so, all modem got almost similar performance. of course u have to use modem that can support HSDPA up to 7.2mbps download speed to get the maximum speed.

sorry if this question has been asked many times before, I was just wondering what is the restricted speed for U-mobile broadband after I exceed the 5gb limit
edit* oh i found the answer few pages back.. so 0.38mbps is the maximum capped speed? is that capped speed stable?

At that speed, it is still good enough for decent web browsing experience. Downloads can be quite slow though if you are downloading large files but shouldn't be a problem if you leave your computer on for downloads most of the time.

if digi's 700kbps is stable, then umobile's capped speed at 384kbps is even stable cuz of low-bandwidth (less error-prone due to high-speed)

For U-Mobile, the upload speed should be around 60-100kbps on average.
