me too .. i was worried when i got my postpaid ... after reading the reports, i thought it's another lousy service ...

now, i'm getting 2Mbps++ speed brows.gif almost thinking of dumping streamyx ... but, too bad, the 3G modem software (Huawei E220 + Mobile Connect) doesn't support voice call notification (only SMS notification).

i need to plug in and out my SIM rclxub.gif

any recommendation to get a better Mobile Connect software which comes with voice call notification? sweat.gif

today's u mobile 3g is damn great ... i get near-constant 3.6Mbps of downloading from RS *woohoo*

usual days, ~2.5 to 2.8Mbps biggrin.gif

yeah, at home, my ping is like ~200++ms ... download speed is similar as yours biggrin.gif

i got my speed above when i'm at BTS for starbuck with frens! haha!

i think Seremban got 3G coverage right? i think can as long as there's coverage ....

to be sure, call their svc centre to be sure (018 388 1318)

if i'm not mistaken, 3G coverage for data and voice *may* be different

p2p sucks on u mobile's broadband because the upload link is freakingly slow. download link is great.

from what i noticed: normal surfing is a tad slow because of slow uplink (yes, browsing also depends on uplink speed).

if i just purely download from http or rs, speed is increadibly fast.

that;s what i do too: use UM 3G to download, Streamyx to upload (~50KB/s on 1M)

normal days (any time) i usually get SUPERB biggrin.gif
weekends, usually AVERAGE

but on AVERAGE, speed still faster than Screamyx (fluctuating between 100 and 50 kbps)

@lelynx, good to know that you posted your comments on the speed.
