Try google as there are many web site featuring these places.
http://penangstreetfood.com/

Penang road have change a lot since you were last here. Get your bearing and orientation by studying a few google maps of Penang. But if you have a specific food or place that you like, then post it here.

Komtar got pacific? biggrin.gif i went to Komtar a few years back also feel so creepy. you know the entrance near the temple there, go up the stairs..... not even halfway also got this eerie silence, which was so unlike back in the 90s.

back then they even have Carls Jr (i think) with KFC and MCD (both near center court). McD side leads to Super while KFC wan was near Parkson or something.

Bukit Jambul also last time hot a while then last i went also like dead.

One Stop also looks great when it opened with Dave's Deli (1st day already it's there, my 1st time eating Dave's also) then but now also look so lousy.
cos Paragon I see work done quite a lot already when I was in Penang around June last year.
*
yea.. those days, the Carls Jr was nice and priced reasonably as well!! thumbup.gif

I usually eat at Genting (off Jalan Delima).. they have quite a good selection or behind Genting coffee shop also got another new one which has pretty good food as well.
Or you can check out the corner coffee shop in Pulau Tikus (before the traffic lights)

Ya, that laksa is not bad, likewise the ice kacang. Btw, that is market's food stalls la - food court sounds confusing.

I would say the Balik Pulau laksa is good. So far, I've tried 2 different stalls in 2 coffee shops at the town. Both stalls sell the Asam laksa and the Siam laksa. I would asked for the mixed - a bit sour + a bit lemak. And the best drink in Balik Pulau - fresh nutmeg juice with sour plum. Yup, it's fresh from the nutmeg fruit, not the usual juice drink dilute with water.

This sounds worrying... I can't imagine how are you going to drive around Penang since you don't even know how to make your way to the NSE - make sure you head north, ok? This is not a joke, coz I've got one friend who drove at the wrong direction along CTE in Singapore before.

Have you tried google map? Or might need to get a GPS..
