Me going with wife and 2 kids on this upcoming 3rd December about to book the tickets now. Wondering whether I should really go for the fastlane tickets which will cost RM80 more for 4 of us compared to standard tickets. How bad the line gonna be? I could use the extra RM80 for activities once up there but if the advantage is really significant, I might just go for the fastlane route

Thanks

If you can reach Penang Hill at 6.am morning then no need fast lane.
Catch the 1st train (6.30am)
Get Sunrise ticket at Rm3 per pax. (Round Trip!!!) (Malaysian Only)

Penang Hill best visit at early morning, clean chill breezing air are excellent.

went there last week
yes, if u can afford it...get the fast lane

it saves u A LOT OF TIME waiting
and when i say a lot, i means hours

this is the queue all the way to the tram gate....the going back down queue is even crazier because is who gets there 1st, they're 1st
going up is count by batch, u go into queue by batch number

the crazy long queue ruin my mood actually
i already plan to fork out money to get fast lane to get back down but counter closed ranting.gif

those hours, i could have used to queue siam road CKT laugh.gif

i think my 2cent is like this..once u reach there, if u see crazy crowd...buy the fast lane
but if u see not much crowd, u can opt for normal lane
