planning to stay in penang for 2 nights, budget around 500-600 max. any recommendation? is The Northam All Suites and Gurney Hotel good?

Both hotels located at the far end of Gurney.
You can try G-Hotel, it's nearer location wise.

Hi folks. I've few times eating experience at east coast bbq fish in a kopitiam near Paya Terubung, Penang.

However, when recently I went back to the kopitiam I couldn't find the stall anymore.

Does anyone know if it has closed down or moved to somewhere?

If it has moved, does the new stall taste nice or the same as the previous one?

Thank you in advanced.

If you want near town area, try Traders Hotel. This hotel is run by Shangri-la group and is located just next to Komtar building.

Very convenient location for those who want to stay near town area. Hotel facilities also very good and you get free wired broadband service in the hotel room.

Highly recommended.

Since you're from Pg and got a car why not?
But if there is only 2 or 4 of you then, a cheap hotel closer to town or Tune Hotel is better as you save traveling time and cost visiting other places of interest.
