well, customize doesnt work with 1.1.4 yet, only up to 1.1.3 only..... i asked this question in another thread and one of the forumer told me that the creator is working on it to be able to work on 1.1.4..... btw, i'm using summerboard with themes.... better than nothing.... haha....

regarding the ringtone, dun expect much from the output of the iPhone... afterall the speaker is just a mono-speaker.... the sifu here said u wun notice any diff on speaker even if u have installed sound boost. but it is otherwise if u r using your headset.... if u want the best quality of your mp3, listen to it using your headset..... haha....

It wont be launched here so fast la. Wait till Australia and Singapore get it first. Even if it reaches here, it will be like double the price now. Even with warranty, i think its more worth it buying now since with the same money u could buy 2 already. Not to mention also if it's tied to a telco, this will change ur spendings 'forever'. After the 2 yrs contract, if you don wanna change ur number u have to keep using postpaid. But thats just my opinion. Other ppl might think differently.

haha...so far no one can confirm when will it being launched here. in fact, all Apple products launch dates are handled with secrecy. it's like CIA hehehe... unless they have stated before (like the unveiling of the iPhone).

Hey is it worth it to buy it now? Since there is alot of news about the iPhone 3G coming out. I'm afraid that I'll regret getting one now after the 3G iPhone comes out. Maybe more feature? How much will the current iPhone price drop when the 3G iPhone come out.. Will anyone buy the current iPhone once the 3G iPhone launched?

When your usage mentions that you have just used it for 3 hours,

doesnt mean that your phone actually last only for 3 hours.

usage starts to count only when you start running an app, and stops when you stop running it,

and continues when you run an app again.

um you see, since you re using bosspref, you should be able to configure both your ssh & bluetooth.

Warranty will of course be easier because it's Singapore and if there is a problem, it's just a 4-5 hour drive, right? Wrong, unfortunately. First of all, unlocking/jailbreaking voids the warranty. Secondly, if it's anything like the US, which I'm sure it will be, they will only repair your phone if you have an active contract, which you won't because you're unlocking it.

Noone knows about the price drop but if the sellers in Malaysia are smart, they will keep the iPhone price steady and sell the 3G iPhone for a higher price. But knowing the ah beng sellers who only know how to price war, expect to see RM1300-RM1500 for the older iPhone. This is all purely speculation though.


You can replace the battery but it will have to be DIY. Or you can pay someone to get it done for you. Not going to be cheap, though.
