guys, i just got mine 8GB. incoming call display name, but incoming sms shows +601xxxxxx, so when i change my contact to +601xxxx, incoming call dun show name, instead it show 01xxxxx. so may i ask how can we have both names?

exactly, i was listening to the ringtone that i hve just created, the song out of the speakers are breaking down, so i have to lower the ringtone volume. i think apple need to do something about their speaker.

sorry, just to clarify, is iRinger same as iphone ringtone maker? hahaha.... coz i use iphone ringtone maker, and it only cuts the mp3 file, output still mp3. i think i shd take a look at iRinger.

oh, does anyone knows how to disable GPRS? coz only now i realise that the square icon represents GPRS, and its on when i want to install something?

EDGE wise, i dun have to worry about, coz the celcom sim card i have is i think 2G, so shd NOT have Edge, anyway, when i use installer, it says edge not available, so i m afraid that it might switch to GPRS, which is very costly. Reason i m asking is because i have had very bad experience with GPRS, it cost me like RM50+ just because i want to book cheap airasia ticket on my PPC, which i didn't end up buying.

guys, i tried to install the regional patch thing for 1.1.4. however, under setting -> international -> Malay -> Malaysia

now the date at the home screen (wallpaper screen) turned malay. and under contacts, address, there is still no selection for malaysia. so i wonder whats the purpose of installing this patch then. But then it list down alot European countries.

guys, i m on 1.1.4. i just checked my usage and standby time is oso the same. so basically time since last full charge, i have 40mins for usage and standby. is there a problem with this? hmm. ....

i checked, i dun have wefit installed. but have wetool, wedict.

actually my phone comes installed with lots of app from the seller. may i ask whats the main software that we shd keep, and those that we can delete? pardon me for that since i only got it for a few days.

also anyone tried using bosstool to relocate application? coz there is a note there saying that we have to relocate before installing. so i was worried that it might bring a problem if i were to relocate them to the larger memory. i just relocate my ringtone though.

hi guys, last nite, before i switch off my iphone, usage & standby is 39min. Now in the office, i checked again here's

usage = 2hr 7min
standby = 1hr 13min

which means that even though ur iphone is switched off, its still running? normally, how do u guys exit an application? coz i usually press the home key. well, on average, my iphone last me about 1.5day. i wonder how long it last for u guys? my dopod D810 usually last me about 3-4days.

guys, just now i install the themes - Designer set. then i check on my usage. its all gone man, now its not showing the standby and usage even after i uninstall that theme.

hmm, i already use bosspref to diable edge, bt. wifi, i only on when i need it. regarding SSH, birugigi, etc, may i ask which software u used to disable them? my usage timer showed up after charging just like u guys said. but now its still the same. i think thats the main cause of my battery draining. any help pls?

how do u exit from an application? if we press the home button, does it close down the app or just run in background?

icic. when we transfer photo to iphone, does it convert to the iphone size or original size? coz i was playing with it, adding photo contact, and wallpaper, and when i enlarge and crop it, somehow i think that the quality is not that good anymore. so would it be better to resize in our pc 1st then upload them?

rite. no wonder. i think its better to edit the wallpaper from the pc 1st, that way its more clear. but was afraid that it will be edited once i sync with itune.

Added on April 18, 2008, 1:28 pmyah, forgot to mentioned, i just installed the sound boost for 1.1.4, makes no difference really. ringtone is still that crappy. guys, are ur ringtone soft and sounds like broken? i was wondering if i use 256kbps would sound clearer, and also increase the volume when converting. rather disappointed with iphone's ringtone not being sharp and loud.

customize, anyone installed this on 1.1.4? coz it says only support up to 1.1.3. or u guys are using summerboard?
