With AirAsiaGo, you may face the risk of they did not answer your call when anything happened. If you book directly with hotel, you found some problem when you arrived at the hotel, and you show your receipt, at least the staff there will do something (e.g. accommodate you to another hotel free of charge). If you book through AirAsiaGo, the printed receipt only can proof that you book the hotel with AirAsiaGo, it cannot proof that AirAsiaGo send your booking to the hotel. When anything happened, and AirAsiaGo do not answer your call, you will understand why I say all these.

However, I am just here to give advice. Follow or not, it is up to you. If anyone still want to use AirAsiaGo / AirAsia GoHoliday, go ahead. But, when anything happened, don't blame me for not giving advice.

However, if anyone still want to use AirAsiaGo / GoHoliday to make hotel booking, my other advice: After your booking, call the hotel to confirm that they receive your booking.

Some AA destinations include a basic allowance of "up to ... kg"

Also, remember that the government requires airport tax to be refunded on request. I've got it back a few times from AA but MH has given me the run-around!

but I click the date travel as informed in that ads, and it turn out rm 300+ go and another rm 300+ back. zzz. the T&C on that ads also state it already included taxes. so is this another advertising scam by AirAsia.
