Hi, I want to book ticket to Aussie, but I want to save money instead of picking the seats. Is there any way to ensure me and my gf will get a seat side by side without paying this fee?
*
I'll still stick to checking in early even though they say that the seats are randomly assigned.
So far most of the seats that I've checked in early, as in web check in 48 hours earlier, me and my bf were seated together.
But since flying to Aussie is quite a long trip, maybe you should pay for the seats cause lots of people will wanna get to sit together also.

My relative told me that AA was rejected for landing in tianjin/beijing because they didnt pay their airport tax... Passenger pay AA in advance, but AA swallow the money, BRAVO AA, Bravo!!!! Once again, malaysia boleh.

Really? I'm interested to know about that. Would you mind to ask your relative where the news come from, or where he/she heard, or how he/she know?

But, even if this is true, we should expected that to be happen, because AirAsia still owe MAHB RM65 million airport tax.

He is a frequent passenger to Beijing. from where he hets the information I do not know, the reason he tols me about this is because I told him i wanna fly to beijing by AA (which AA cancelled the flight completely until Feb).

AA stated that its because adverse weather. But from my relative, its because of airport tax. So tianjin airport barred AA from landing for 2 months...

Feels cheated once more, kept hiding away from responsibility.

If it is true, they got what they deserved. But, this make innocent passengers suffering.

Hi, I recently booked a flight from KL to Melbourne on 29th November 2009.
As I checked my details in the itinerary, I found out that I mistyped my name.

The correct name should be something like 'BOON HONG, LIM'(just an example, not my real name)
However, I typed it as 'BOONHONG, LIM' where a spacing is missing.
Will this affect my boarding?

I couldn't reach the Airasia customer call centre as there's always congestion.
That's why I'm here to seek help/opinion from the experienced.
Thanks.

Thanks for replying! =)

If I'm not mistaken, the customer care centre in KLSentral is always crowded.
I went there once. The queue there is unbelievably long. >.<"

Oh gosh, really?
Thanks for sharing!
To be safe, I think I should keep calling the customer care centre.
I'm not getting my hope too high, though.
I tried several times, and couldn't reach th customer care representative even once.

Most international carriers will put your first name together. It's totally fine.

I totally agree to bysquashy. International carrier will usually join our first name together, so really nothing to sweat about.

If you check AA periodically, seems like forever got promotions one lah..., one after another, the only difference is the booking period and travelling period.

Anyway, take note hor, nowadays AA suka suka quoting All In Fare, suka suka fare not inclusive of tax. Tadak standard punya.
