Compare compare compare. There's no more right and wrong answer. You're not in primary school anymore. Have fun shopping! wink.gif

how do u know im not in primary school anymore?i could just be... heh no la,kidding.i thought there might be standard practice of marking up the price for these kind of packages that most people already know about.thats what i wanted to make sure of.since it could be both ways,u're right, compare.except that it's only now after im sure of the situation i feel its worth to make that effort.thanks anyway.

I was on a longish Air Asia flight over the past few days. Some complaints, from slow checkin counters to the long, loud and hot walk to the plane to the lack of signs on which plane to go to and other stuff. I wish there was more competition in this region for low cost carriers. US/Europe has plenty of low cost carriers and each airline has to innovate to gain customers. Air Asia dominates the region and can treat their customers badly and get away with it.

Anyway just my 2 sen.

don't know if this is out yet but they're ripping the XL seats (28) and replacing them to 12 business-class lie-flat beds from next January all the way to July in AAX. seats will be widened by half an inch but capacity will remain at 383. packed like sardines i reckon

I suppose by replacing the seats with beds, there is still space to put another 2 rows of cattle class seats kot.

I suppose this is for the sydney/melbem flights or future routes that are over 8 hrs flight

I've been on Easyjet, Monarch and BMI Baby (all LCC's) in Europe and you get what you pay for, tarmac walks, cramped seating, slow check-in etc.

I've got about 3 flights booked with AirAsia next month and one with Tiger. Living down here in Perth, AA has really opened up our options, i've booked quite a few people on AA in the coming months for people who wouldn't otherwise have flown.
I'm still flying with MAS to KL next week though, only way to burn my Enrich points hehe

Seat no. is given during check-in time. Normally, they put the people under the same booking sitting next to each other. If you check-in late and the flight is quite full, then there's no guarantee for seats next to each other lor.

If you are worried, why don't you select a seat? RM 5 per person is not expensive right?

Even you already paid for your booking, you can still select the seats at AirAsia.com.

If you are registered member of AirAsia.com and booked your seat after log-in, you can log-in to AirAsia.com, then click on "Manage my booking", click the "view" at the right side of your specified booking, then click on "Change seats" at the right side, follow the instructions, pay for it, you are done.

If you are not registered member of AirAsia.com, or booked your flight without log-in as the member, go to AirAsia.com website, click on "Manage my booking", click on "manage booking", enter your booking details then click on "find itinerary", proceed to select and pay for your seats. I can't tell you much about this because I never book AirAsia flight without log-in.

Or, if you preferred, you can also call AirAsia call centre or sales office.

You can do all these up to 4-hours before departure.
