yes i do put my shirt on her cage...
i play with her whenever i can... i try to play with her all the time...
she does not like to crawl on me.. she would rather venture herself around than to stay on me..

give her time. its only just a week. play with her n bond with her during day time. dats the best time for u n her to get acquiantance. becoz that's her sleeping time n ur day time. let her be close to u, n be able to recognize ur smell n voice ur heartbeat. let her sleep in ur hand n etc. watch her during her playtime. put her on ur shoulder, then she'll have to crawl down to get off u. later she'll try to venture onto ur body herself. play summore with her...

Yep, it's hard getting them here but I found out this guy who used to live in kl but now he's back here and his sg is pregnant...but if his sister wants it, he will give her one so if there's only one joey being born then she gets it. (if she wants it).. hehehe. If there's two being born and his sister doesn't want it then he will sell them as a pair and I just can't afford having two straight away. The only way for me to get one is if 1 baby is being born and his sister doesn't want it or 2 babies born and his sister wants it - 1 for her and 1 for me. lol...lots of uncertainties here but just in case I do get one (hopefully), I better get prepared. x)

^^ Yayyy..brought my suggie to the hotel with me. ^^ Let her roam free in the hotel room, kept jumping and exploring everywhere, even hide in my bags, had to end up tugging all my bags to be able to find her at times. Jumping everywhere that she refused to go back to her pouch or the portable cage I got for her, only when she's tired then she'll go back willingly.

theres still 1 thing i wud like to noe... whom shall i contact to get the calcium supp? i read it but cant remember where/which page? i do feed them plain low fat yogurt mixed wif lots of fresh fruits wenever i can & hv the time but my work sumtimes takes me away for more than 12hrs so the calcium powder will be much easier for my not so rajin in the kitchen bf....

oh ya & at wat age do suggies start barking? my qiqi is bout 3mths now & has started barking everyday for the past 3days at 6am. I've only had her for 10days....

wow there's so many things to read just 1 day i miss... n its moving fast =D

anyway good to hear alot of new suggie owner here and having a great time bonding....

i had a hard time bonding with mine too... just got him for less then 3 weeks and hes bout 5 months old i guess..hes always barking/crab at me n charge at me when i put my hand near the pouch or anywhere near him to carry him around...but now i manage to calm it after multiple of lil bites n i know it was testing me...

well my suggie now some how knows that my hand only offer him food and safety and it doesnt bark/crab so much now except if i go n kacau its sleeping time....

anyway i need some assistant.... my suggie nails are somehow getting longer and its kinda giving problem when he tries to move around.... does any1 who stays in PJ " Kelana Jaya/Damansara " area who luvs to meet up and show me how it should be done....

or maybe we can do a small yum cha meetup over this weekend or so...

The very end part of it.
Cover them with a piece of cloth,then take their palm out.
Just cut the sharp tip of their nails.
That should do it.
Make sure u dun cut too deep as there's nerves there.
They'll cry n bleed.

It may be holistic but it is not recognized by other forums or overseas glider keeper. Have you tried smelling it? Smells weird and bad too.... You can try, but you shouldn't use it as a staple. Only as occasional supplement.

Pet Safari gets weird food for gliders. Some are not even edible also. Like there was one food for sale, tak halal. Then got complaints most gliders do not eat it coz of the weird smell.

It is better to feed them fruits and supplement mix like GliderSLURP, is more natural.

OMG. Kanggaroo meat... Its like eating a distance relatives for glider. Hehe. Both are marsupials.
